    Do you use turmeric? Or would you consider adding it?

    The depression is Real with MS. Guilty ✋🏽

    • @EvenSoItIsWell
      @EvenSoItIsWell  3 месяца назад

      Thanks for watching. It totally is! There is more and more research showing it is a distinct symptom of MS. We are not depressed because we have MS, it is an actual symptom.

    People keep telling me about the high oxalates Turmeric has and I can careless, Turmeric is amazing when putting it in Curry dishes particularly "Dal". How I see it is your brain health as an MS patient should be prioritized over any potential side effect. But that's just me.

    • @EvenSoItIsWell
      @EvenSoItIsWell  3 месяца назад +1

      I agree. Oxalates can be a problem if we are susceptible to kidney stones, but most of us are not. 😉

    I use it often in foods and in shots with ginger and lemon. My boyfriend grows turmeric and ginger so there's plenty for me to use.

    I like everything you are saying but look for a supplement without magnesium sterate

    • @EvenSoItIsWell
      @EvenSoItIsWell  3 месяца назад

      Thanks so much for watching! I have seen articles saying magnesium stearate may interfere with T-cells but when I looked into it, it was only one small study on mice and it was stearate acid (not magnesium stearate) and it was in mice, not human. Is that what you are concerned with?

    How much pepper do I need to enhance tumeric? Should what I have on my food for dinner be enough, or do I need a gel caps full?

    • @EvenSoItIsWell
      @EvenSoItIsWell  3 месяца назад

      That is an excellent question. I could not find any conclusive answers on how much but most agree it is a very small amount like 1/4 of a tsp. in a whole recipe.

    I tale flaxseed capsules daily suggested by dr Jelineck … i wonder whether i should add turmeric as well?

    • @EvenSoItIsWell
      @EvenSoItIsWell  3 месяца назад

      I love Dr. Jelinek too! I take omega 3 in the form of algae oil and I did ground flax, hemp seed, and chia seeds to my diet frequently. The research seems to show turmeric is helpful so I added it. 😉
