It is awesome how I can just hear in my head the drums kick in on so many of these riffs. Even on acoustic they really are heavy riffs!
Yeah. Metal riffs are supposed to have some percussive value into them. Otherwise it’s just a melody.
@@AndriyVasylenko True! I remember seeing James Hetfield talk about how he considered rhythm guitar as a percussive way to play. And if it's good enough for the mighty Het' then....

The riff from NIB (Black Sabbath) is one that actually sounds great on accoustic. There is a video somewhere on youtube where Zakk Wylde plays it on some ridiculous tiny toy guitar, and it still is sounding amazing.

Don't know about heaviness but princes of down and spirit crusher sound incredibly. Wolf Hoffman and Chuck Shuldiner are among my favourite metal composers

Good stuff. I love it. One of my favorite riffs to play acoustic is Rage Against The Machine's Killing In The Name. It weirdly enough works pretty well.
I like how you managed to get Saxon to mold so well with Iron Maiden. Good stuff!

in argentina electric guitars aren't that common, so a lot of people here (including me) learn some of those riffs in nylon string guitars hahahaha
