Great video and thanks Colin for sharing so much quality information - Inspirational!!
Hi guys, great vid. The Welsh mullet fishing scenario sounds identical to the one here in he warmer months. Saying that though, I am in Penarth, South Wales, on the Bournville chocolate flavoured Bristol Channel. They swarm in over the mud from the lowest tides, in inches of water, gorging on whatever it is they gorge on - maybe they're all chocoholics, til they're halfway up the beach, hit the seaweed, then they're gone. Same every year, same location, although they're all along the coast here, but highly concentrated in the places I know. I don't think many other people even notice they're there, or care really. Most of the fishing here seems to be about try to cast over to Weston, in an attempt to catch whatever's not over there. Hey ho. Many thanks. Raymondo.

@@GoneFishingNow Aye, it's nice to hear some good advice from experience rather than "you can't catch Mullet on the fly!" 😅
I've spent time watching the movements of resident Mullet here on the west coast of Scotland, and when they're in the mood to feed they practically beach themselves in a couple of inches of water.
Roll on the warmer weather. Hoping to catch a few on fly this year.
