Brother from another Mother! I'm only a few moments in and feels like hearing my own story. Glad we are free!
Wonderful!
You mention chiropractors aren’t trained in the mind body aspect of things (which is true) but good news is my husband (who is a chiropractor in Canada) has completely added mind body therapy into his current practice. I have TMS and it took us both down a crazy road which turned into him changing his practice into more mind body (TMS) work. Yes the body does get injured and he helps so many with muscle injuries but has also gone the way of TMS with many patients he knows is TMS and not anything actually physically “wrong” with him. So hopefully more practitioners out there in the chiro, physio, massage world learn more about Mind Body.
Great news about your husband taking these concepts on in his practice.
Well done Alex !So happy you found your healing interview on you tube with Dan and could improve so quickly !
The obsession of wanting to get better at any cost is just normal !
If doctors label you with incurable stuff, that’s like a death sentence and who would not start fighting and pushing against that!
Which in itself is so distressing for the brain that’s already overwhelmed !
For me you are 💯 recovered from chronic pain.. human pain is normal and can be dealt with.
Sorry you had to go through such tough years but look at you now: a fit wise young man with a brilliant life ahead!
Enjoy!!!
Thanks Dan and Matt for spoiling us with another gem of hope!
🙏🤗👏👏👏
Thank you Inge.
IT DOES HELP TO FOSTER AN OPEN MIND
I’m young too… and had this crap for 10 years… it hurt my heart to hear how young you were and how you had to quit working and school and literally everything else you loved to do… I get that. Proud of you. Happy for you!’
Thank you Vera. There's a solution for all of us. You have found it.
ALEX IS AN OUTSTANDING PERSON WHICH IS A TREND I SEE IN OVERACHIEVERING, HIGH STANDARDS, INTELLIGENCE CARING. LET'S NOT BE SELF-CRITICIZING BUT KIND AND NURTURING
yes, exactly.
Have a son your age & remember all the things I used to do at that age too. So glad you've got your life back. Onwards you go. What a wonderful young man. Thank you both for doing this interview. X
Awesome interview! I can relate a lot to so many aspects of this, even the actual physical ailments were the same for me. Stopping treatment and being open minded were key for me also in healing my chronic back pain and digestion.
Excellent Alyssa. Thank you for your comment.
Can u tell bit more about how u healed?
I can relate so much with Alex ,being so young and fit then people ask you to help lift something and having to say no that what absolutely destroyed me😢. I looked so strong fit etc then being out performed by my wife who is half my weight size . I used to be the person who would go out of my way to help people and now being labled the lazy guy this was nearly worse than the back pain . Thanks for the vids 👍 🇬🇧
If he can do it, so can you!!! ruclips.net/video/VSmTe8zPXh0/видео.html
Great interview.. it will give a lot of confidence to all of us suffering with TMS. Well done Alex and Dan 👏👏👏
Thank you.
Thank you Dan for Always keeping me Company in these strange times of my Life 🙏
You are quite welcome.
I found all this at 39. So, I am so happy for you!!! you found this at such a young age. Awesome!
Yes! Thank you!
When I went to P.T. for a couple of months, my pain flared up. I was actually scared, before going, that I would have a flare up because that’s what happened to me in 2016. Pain got worse. Dry needling caused a flare up for SIX days and I had a horrible headache behind one eye and the top of my shoulder. All the various physical therapists that I saw asked me what I do to relax and to remember to deep breathe. Asked me when my last massage was because my muscles are so tight. I stopped going after the dry needling episode and stumbled upon this information a few weeks ago.
Thank you Alex and Dan the Mindset Man very inspiring that you recovered from fear so quickly! Live life to the fullest! ♥️
Our pleasure!
Just watched this and it was so lovely. I liked the way he described his journey❤
Hi Alex, Your story resonates with me, I went thru the "same" thing at 33 years old.
Every time you laugh as you tell of your experience I feel like crying which is part of repression of emotions. I did a lot of crying during the first few years.
Thank you for having the courage to share your story.
Dan, you and Raelen have changed my life for the better. Thank you SO MUCH
Thrilled to be a part of the journey!
Awesome Alex, so good to hear 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you Dan & Alex for the inspiration & hope...agree with Alex Dan is an angel.
Thank you Josie.
Congratulations Alex 🎉🎉🎉🎉🍰🎂💐😘
Thanks so much Dan and Alex. So happy for you Alex 🎉
Our pleasure!
Thanks for your story Alex. can relate to so much of your experience. So happy for you living your life!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you Alex, what an amazing story ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dan please please do a testimonial of someone had post injury years prior and still in this space. As you told me the body heals and you can still be stuck in TMS just like those were that woke up one day or gradual onset like so so many of these testimonials. I get that some of these might very well have had incidents prior that they thought nothing about and or eventually caught up that they never linked even though it was stilll TMS causing it. It would help a lot of people understand that there may be no difference in looping based on onset which for many of us is where we get stuck thanks
Stacy: I don't know how I can search for and do a testimonial based on your very specific request. Injuries DO heal. Pain can stay on due to fear and attention. YOUR specific situation is way more important than finding someone to fit your testimonial criteria.
How your pain started is completely not important. Why it persists we can find out with the assessments. What is your score on the pain test? How many true answers on the FIT assessment questions? IsThisTMS.com
And what specific injury did you sustain years ago? How did it happen? And what proof of injury do you have? Did you fracture something?
Great interview. Thanks guys.
Our pleasure!
WTG Alex! 👏👏
Good interview! Thank you! Dan, do you have an interview of someone who has TMS lower back pain for over a decade, and who has been in recovery for over 2 years successfully? (besides you)
I don't have an index for which success stories meet specific criteria. However, there are a number of back recovery success stories. ruclips.net/p/PLRJmnkn2kTTIFQdggCj5blCYWTENhppHs
Further, the length of time someone had pain does not matter. If it's TMS, recovery is available.
Thanks so much Dan!
I love these stories of getting better. Although I get triggered hearing them sometimes. Dan, is there a way if you so inclined to put time stamp on when the story goes from the list of problems to when it resolves ?
I really appreciate you and your channel ❤
Unfortunately, my work load is so busy that once I record it, I do not listen back to the whole interview and do any additional work on organizing the content. I believe it's best to listen to the whole story so you have the context of the experience. As for being triggered, building resilience to other peoples stories is really important. Just remind yourself that their story is NOT your story.
@@PainFreeYou good idea and I suppose I can comment with time stamp for your viewers. Yes you are busy and you do these videos every day !
I cannot eat smything i want - i try do to do and the blosting & pain is too much.
Do you have any success stories after neck or back surgery Dan? To listen to Please.
And great Interview 😊
I don't recall specifically. I don't catalog previous medical interventions as part of the success stories. However, I know people CAN and DO get well after surgery.
My success stories are here: ruclips.net/p/PLRJmnkn2kTTIFQdggCj5blCYWTENhppHs
Can you post a link to the interview mentioned? Thanks :)
I believe this is the one Alex was speaking about: owltail.app.link/zfl76adfQyb
26: pain after 24hours. That's me all the time after doing exercise and or strenuous activities.
Hey Dan, I’ve been on the TMS path for about a year now, mainly with IBS (have gotten over my back pain/sciatica but not IBS). Your videos have been super helpful through the process for me, but digestive issues are tricky. Just wondering, how often do you see success stories like Alex’s for people with IBS/reflux type symptoms?
It's pretty common. Digestion is suppressed when in stress. That allows reflux and symptoms called IBS to occur. Stressing out about a stress induced condition is like pouring gas on the fire and wondering why it won't go out.

what was the interview where he found Dan?
Was there any stuff going on when it first showed up?
He was a student and stressing out about that from my recollection.
I shouldn't have to search so far for meaning of an acronym. Still not sure what TMS stands for
If you read the description of any video, I have a getting started page that have multiple videos explaining the concepts. www.PainFreeYou.com/start
Hey Dan
Can facet arthropathy pain also go by following Dr Sarnos approach
facet arthropathy pain is a medical diagnosis. The rule of thumb is to see if those "defects" are the cause of the pain or symptoms or not. Take the pain test. If you score 30 or above, that means your symptoms are behaving like they are created in the brain and not from a structural defect.
If TMS - the body is not the cause. I'm not debating the imaging study. What I might suggest is that what you see on the image is not the cause of the pain.
Take the pain test: YourPainTest.com
@@PainFreeYou i scored 38/39
But I want to know what is the reality of asymptomatic facet arthropathy, what is its percentage
If you could provide me with that resources it would of help.
Thanks
Also could you share with me any TMS success story who had diagnosis same as mine
Waiting to hear back
@@harshparekh5033 I am not a doctor, nor do I track statistics on medical diagnosis. However when I google asymptomatic facet arthropathy, this comes up.
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6547401/
A score of 38/39 means that the medical diagnosis is irrelevant. Your brain is creating the pain, not your body.
@@PainFreeYou okay thank you
I believe I have TMS
also could you tell how much percentage of chronic pain condition is TMS
Do you have success story for knee pain ?❤
Yes I have. ruclips.net/video/Q_J3R9AjhAA/видео.html
Although I will say that the location of the pain does not matter at all. The solution is the same for knee pain as it is for pain anywhere else in the body. All my success stories are here: ruclips.net/p/PLRJmnkn2kTTIFQdggCj5blCYWTENhppHs
Dan how can I connect with him can you share his insta or mail please.....
