please continue harry potter! watching the characters grow up is so magical, and the books get darker and more adult as the series goes on. it's such an incredible story
Please continue the hp series. Its amazing. I have not spent a year without reading hp since i was nine. Its lovely and brings confort when times get hard
Love how you mentioned being open minded with the first book of a series. A good story needs a good set up! Sometimes that can be boring but it makes the rest of the series usually hit so much harder!
Your thoughts on Never were so articulate and one of the best reviews I’ve seen thus far❤ You really shared your own personal experience and I respect that. I agree that knowing the original Peter Pan story is SO important. I think it needs to be read in light of the original story and the time period it takes place in. I feel the same way as you about Jessa’s writing and I personally liked Never (even how frustrating the characters could be) and I’m excited to continue the series and have hope it’ll only get better.
For video ideas 💌: I just need more reading journal content, it would be so nice to se a 2023 reading journal flip through and your 2024 reading journal 😍. And maybe you could do a reading journal journal update every few months. Your reading journal is such an inspiration for me 🧚🏻♀️ Thanks!
I think caraval being described as a fever dream is perfect just because i think we were supposed to feel like that if i am making any sense but please finish the series tella's stroy line is so much better than scarlet in my opnion the story starts and ends with her . She is the main character of the series in my opnion
I would LOVE to see more book journal content. Like maybe a flip through of last year’s or maybe do a flip through at the end of each month with the wrap up. I loved your journal last year and it’s so fun to get inspiration for it when you know you’ll already like the content
I love the way you explained how you may not love the first book in a series because that’s exactly how I felt with acotar and now i’m fully encapsulated in the world. the way you explained it was so good!
Happy new year Rachel. I hope 2024 in kind to you. I love the Harry Potter series. The first two books are more for younger people but from book 3 on the stories get darker especially from the goblet of fire. I think you might enjoy them if you continue to read them.
American version is called sorcerers stone because it’s a translation of British English so it’s a different version. American published by Scholastic and British published by Bloomsbury. And please continue the HP series!
Can you film a video on how to/how you annotate books? I got really into reading last year and I've already read 4 this year and really want to get into annotating but I have NO idea how to even start it or anything!!
Because of you I started the Magnolia Parks series and I've never been so obsessed with anything in my life! I'm on book 4 and I'm reading it so slowly just to make it last. I can't believe I have to wait for the next book, it's going to be torture after being able to binge the first 4. Thank you for introducing me to my new favorite series!!!
TOTALLY on the same page about Never... people seem to hate it, but I think you have to stick with it - and agree that reading the original Peter Pan was so helpful going in. Would love to see a 2023 reading journal wrap-up and if you'll be doing one in 2024!
Harry Potter is my comfort series, I love the way it's written. If you continue the series you will be amazed at how much foreshaddowing is in the early books that brings deapth to the later books its incredible. Also I think they changed the name to make it more understandable in the US or something?
I definitely recommend the rest of the Lovelight Farms books. My favourite was the 2nd one, In the Weeds, I’m a sucker for a quiet but romantic MMC haha. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year! I am going to QBD tomorrow to get Ruthless Vows and Emily Wildes Map of the Otherlands and I’m so excited to get absolutely lost in my coziest reads for the next couple days 😊😊😊
❤📚 I love your videos/reviews. I received The Lunar Chronicles box set for Christmas. I'm really looking forward to them even more now. They sound like they'll make lovely "light, fun" reads between more "heavy, dense" reads. Thanks for all your hard work. Enjoy your 2024 reading!
I loved your thoughts on being open-minded when it comes to first books of a series! I do agree :) I just picked up Never so I'm interested to see why its so mixed in terms of reviews
I read Daisy Haites the great undoing too in December. It was 5/5🌟 for me too. I ship Julian with her sm. I bet they’re gonna end up together hopefully. can’t wait to read the 5th book in February.
Harry Potter starts off as middle grade and meant for younger kids but as the series goes on it veers a little more towards ya. I still think it can be enjoyed by anyone of any age and I would love to see your thoughts on the rest of the series!
I’m nervous to read Never because of the mixed reviews! But I think going in knowing that about the characters helps! I neeeed to finish the magnolia parks series first though!
Your thoughts on Never basically sum up my feelings on Divine Rivals 😅 I read it last month and I still can’t decide how I feel about it 😭 I think the hype is also clouding my vision a bit haha
I read two of my 23 books to read in 2023 in the first days of 2024, both were 5 stars, and I still have 4 that I didn't get to. But I got them all for Christmas so at least I own them.
If you like romance with a twist of thriller? I would highly suggest Nora Roberts. Yes I know she may not be what the cool kids are reading 😂 and some of her romances have a paranormal aspect, I.e.The Morrigan Cross trilogy (sorry, I can’t remember the proper name, that’s the first book), but I’ve always found her books to be enjoyable.
Rachel I think if you like once upon a broken heart, you will like Legendary (book 2) more than Caraval. Different MC, Jacks shows up 🤭 Much more world building outside of their little island and the games!
I haven't read Jessa Hastings yet and I think I'm going to start with Never. That way, maybe I'll love Magnolia Parks even more. 😂 I have already bought Never... so let's see how this goes.... Great reviews! As always!
I feel like the only person who loved Never. I’m confused by people not liking the characters because they’re flawed, but for me the characters in Magnolia Parks are far more flawed and just as difficult to like.
The original rumour was that Americans wouldn’t know what the Philosophers Stone was like everyone else knows it was a stone used in alchemy to turn base metals into gold!!! I believe the actual reason was to appeal to a wider audience.
please continue harry potter! watching the characters grow up is so magical, and the books get darker and more adult as the series goes on. it's such an incredible story
I will at some point!!
@@RachelCatherine have you seen the illustrated versions? They are incredible and so fun to read
right?!! In my opinion the first three books are the most similar to movies and then from the 4th book onwards the books just have so much more depth
Please continue the hp series. Its amazing. I have not spent a year without reading hp since i was nine. Its lovely and brings confort when times get hard
I will at some point, just not sure when! 🫶🏼
Iloverh
Love how you mentioned being open minded with the first book of a series. A good story needs a good set up! Sometimes that can be boring but it makes the rest of the series usually hit so much harder!
I think it’s important!!
You 100% need to read through HP, there’s so much growth and becomes more adult and adult themes as it goes
Rach you're one of the few youtubers that i cant stop watching. Just wanted to say thank you for just being you. You're so sweet, kind and inspiring🩷

I will def continue the series!!!
I would love to see a reading journal flip through just like you did last year!
I Need that too!!! 🥹😍
I couldn’t bring myself to finish Never- I am so sad because I was so excited for this release 😭
I love how you have a Bible verse at the beginning of your videos! I am a new subscriber but I am falling in love with your videos.
The way I’ve been waiting 😭

it makes me so happy to see you enjoying the lunar chronicles !!! it's my all time comfort series and i rarely see people talking about it
Happy new year Rachel. I hope 2024 in kind to you. I love the Harry Potter series. The first two books are more for younger people but from book 3 on the stories get darker especially from the goblet of fire. I think you might enjoy them if you continue to read them.
I've missed your videos so much🩷
Happy 2024
Happy new year!!!
the way I've been waiting for this video
it’s time 😌
American version is called sorcerers stone because it’s a translation of British English so it’s a different version. American published by Scholastic and British published by Bloomsbury. And please continue the HP series!
Also the editor of the american version thought that philosophers stone will sound too boring to american kids
I just finished Lunar Chronicles and Cress was my favorite book as well. Thanks for the recommendation Rachel.❤
Good morning Rachel happy Monday morning and happy new year to you and your loved ones and I hope that 2024 brings you a lot of love and happiness
thank you! 🥹 happy new year! 🤭
@RachelCatherine your welcome sending you hugs ❤️ 🤗
I just finished the unmarked witch as I was so slumpy ending 2023 and it has totally cured me. I’m onto the second in the duology and I’m in love.
I love videos where someone else chooses your reads.

Its coming out next month!!
I'd love to see videos about like specific genre recommendations, such as top recommendations for fantasy or romance!!
I love the monthly reading wrap ups so much! Great job 🩷

Girl when are we getting a 2024 reading journal setup?!🙈 We NEED💘💘

i was so excited for Never & i wish i would’ve dnfed it… i ended up finishing it tho

It’s always such a pleasure to watch your videos your energy makes me so happy 🩷🧸
I have so much work to do before going back to high school tomorrow but this is more important !!
Hahahah please do your school work!!
I did a re read of the first Harry Potter book in December and also read love light farms!! Love to see it 🥰
I was wondering if I should pick up caraval before once upon a broken heart, so torn!!
Happy new year Rachel 🎉 so excited for a new year of reading, and getting amazing recommendations from you 😊 God bless

Okay I definitely need to read the next one then!! And omg I’m so excited about both of those releases!!! 😍
Please continue the hp series. I personally think you are missing out by not doing so. I reread / listen to it most years. ❤
❤📚 I love your videos/reviews.

I would love to see more features of scrapbooking or journalling about books. that sort of stuff ☺
Harry Potter starts off as middle grade and meant for younger kids but as the series goes on it veers a little more towards ya. I still think it can be enjoyed by anyone of any age and I would love to see your thoughts on the rest of the series!
I thought the exact same about Never !!! You just put words on how I felt about this book
Amazing video Rachel!😸
I’m nervous to read Never because of the mixed reviews! But I think going in knowing that about the characters helps! I neeeed to finish the magnolia parks series first though!
Where did you listen to Tom Lake because I can’t seem to find it available in aus with Meryl narrating it
Happy New Year Rachel! I”m rereading Harry Potter and would love to have some one to discuss the series with.❤
Happy new year girl!❤
I have been waiting for this wrap up! Your videos are the best!
🥹🫶🏼✨

Love the way you did your review for Never🧚💫❄️ I really enjoyed it but I can 100% see why someone wouldn’t!
PLEEEEEEEEASE DO A READING JOURNAL SET UP VIDEO!!!!!
missed u!! 🩷🩷
Which audiobook narration did you listen to for Peter Pan? There is so many narrators 🙈
Need to read some Stephanie Garber - her writing sounds amazing, maybe I'll start with Once Upon a Broken Heart😍
Oooh okay I’ll add to my list!! 🥰
Nora is amazing! Highly recommend. She has a huge backlist...over 200 books.
Never was a horrible book😅 with horrible characters, u r so gentle with the review
I’ve been reading the audio books of Harry Potter and loving them in a different format
Oooh maybe I’ll try the audiobooks 😍
Okay now i want to read Never! Loved your review om it
which app did you listen to for the audiobook of none of this is true? 💗
Happy New Year 2024!
Happy new year 🥰🫶🏼
Rachel I think if you like once upon a broken heart, you will like Legendary (book 2) more than Caraval.

I feel like the only person who loved Never. I’m confused by people not liking the characters because they’re flawed, but for me the characters in Magnolia Parks are far more flawed and just as difficult to like.
I loved it as well so you are not alone!
I'd like to see you reading underated books. Like flawed and perfect by Cecelia ahern
luna is the kingdom of the moon😍
I wonder if you also read non fiction books or are you more drawn fiction only?
I think we had the exact same experience with Never
PLEASE continue the Caraval series
I will!!
@@RachelCatherine it’s so good, the final book is my favorite🫶
U NEED TO CONTINUE PROMPTS CHOOSE MY TBR❤❤😭😭
Please I LOVED THOSE VIDS!😭❤️
I will do it for Feb!! And the rest of the year!! 🫶🏼
@@RachelCatherine YESS! thankss ur the best!❤️🌟

Please do reading journal flip through 🤍
Hi. Greetings from Azerbaijan. I support you. I love reading books🇦🇿
Where is the November wrap up? I’d love to hear your thoughts of those books!
i like never however jessa hastings writes her books WITH plots she is so not a no plots just vibes author
The original rumour was that Americans wouldn’t know what the Philosophers Stone was like everyone else knows it was a stone used in alchemy to turn base metals into gold!!! I believe the actual reason was to appeal to a wider audience.
Oooh interesting!!
Intertwine!
i feel like i’m the only one who liked Never 😅 and it’s funny because i went into it expecting to hate it
Never was just not it for me. It did not sit well. Not a fan. Love magnolia parks though.
💓💓💓
How many books did you read in 2023??
Please reconsider finishing Harry Potter and that's all I'm going to say 😊
The Bible verse at the beginning. 🤍🤍🤍🤍 love.
