Usually ThyssenKrupp is very reliable IF it's maintained properly. This is just me, but every ThyssenKrupp that I've encountered, even the older ones, ran extremely well and were maintained exactly when they should've been.
I have never seen this happen before on a ThyssenKrupp Elevator before. After filming for almost 7 years this is definitely a new one for me! ThyssenKrupp you really need to come in and fix this problem, this is a serious issue.
ThyssenKrupp is known for making reliable elevators, but this one has issues of its own. I'm guessing it's either something to do with poor maintenance or possibly a faulty install. It would be a nice elevator if it didn't malfunction. I'm guessing that the motor needs to be fixed or replaced because if you've noticed, it starts up, then jolts hard and stalls for a few seconds and then runs fine. I think it has something to do with the safety brakes, motor, pump, or a track/wheel defect.
Huge door!
Most of these have large doors like this.
It sounds like the Thyssenkrupp Signa4 I filmed at my hospital in Lincoln, Illinois.
TK’s quality standards of hell...
Or just poor maintenance.
in the UK thyssenkrupp does the worst maintenance, I don’t know about you but I HATE thyssenkrupp!

Did they fix that elevator
I'm sure it is now.
Interlock fail perhaps? Also you can hear "Save Big Money at Menards" on the speakers at 1:41. Lol
I know right?
My guess too.
Ah yes... the vocal stylings of Mitch Irish and Barbara Simon always mean good deals on knotty pine, light bulbs, and paint!
Ohhhhh Menards
haha, that was a joke another user and I started a few years ago.
I probably do not think it is a malfunction, i think had about a late start up
The motor starts, it suddenly comes to a stop, sinks back down, and then starts again. That's not a late startup.
Then I have no clue what that was. Maybe stalled?
Europe has a different thing. It sometimes does an adjustment run (shows JU on the indicator) and it moves slowly somewhere.
Yeah, thyssens do this if you safety break them.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh menards
tkefan29 DARN IT! I was gonna say the same, lol
:P
save big money at menards
Wow seems like it took a while to move. I actually just got stuck in an elevator for 2 minutes before it opened
Hydraulics, don't trust them XD
Why not?
@@stlelevators they can be dodgy sometimes, at least from my experience.

I'm trying to think if i remember you filming this one before, did you film this one with Andrew a while back?
That was the Farmington one I think
I did film this one before. I've never brought Andrew here.
Quite an interesting and fun startup. I'd def take that for a second ride ⚡⚡👍
Good one Menards.
Add some style to your garden? More like add style to your elevator.
O
Well, this hasn't reached Osage Beach's standards yet... ;)
Nope.
Looks like it was not properly maintained. I've ridden many Thyssenkrupp Elevators and they ran well.
Yeah i was at the New York New York on Sunday and one of the elevators was just sitting there opening and closing
Judging by the noise it sounds like the elevator is not being taken good care of
Interesting! Not common, but I’ve seen others. Justin once had a 10 second start up on a freight elevator.
Doesn’t look like they maintain it very well
Aidan Patterson Good possibility
Maybe the elevator wants to trap you so you can’t save big money. That way, Menard’s will make more money by you not saving any big money.
Wow pretty slow
lol
Oof
