Hi everyone! This is not a new video - a few weeks ago I took down this video because I realised I had made a mistake in it. I have edited it and uploaded it again. I apologise for any confusion.
In recent months I have been striving to speak English with a British accent. I can't get over one assignment I have been ordered. That's " the pronunciation of CLOTHES ". lol
@@EnglishwithMax Besides month and months According to a friend of mine who is a native speaker, I seem to be able to pronounce " Clothes" exactly but I can't recognize the difference. lol
I like all all the accents. Let the whole globe be peaceful and be friendly to each other with a great harmony. I love all the countries in this beautiful planet. Please correct my English as I am not a native speaker. Thank you very much for teaching good English for all the seekers.
thanks for this amazing video, you are an amazing teacher and are so beautiful as well and have a sweet good sense of humor ,, much love keep up the good work ,,
Sure! We use "another" if the noun is singular and if we would use "a" or "an" in front of it. E.g. A banana -> Another banana. We use "other" if the noun is plural or if we would use "the" in front of it. E.g. The banana -> The other banana The bananas -> The other bananas NOTE: "Another one" is like "one more". "Do you want another one?" = "Do you want one more?"
If you're talking about woven material, then I think you can use them interchangeably (at least I can't think of any situations where you can't ;)). But "fabric" can also be used in another context. See C2: dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/fabric
Thanks, Max. I appreciate you answering. I hope we can have a nice conversation in a near future someday although I know, it's not possible for you right now- Well, Take a good care of yourself. See you.
This was really helpful, because I'm in an english class at the university. So my teacher it's not american speaking, and she was saying it weird, like "Clo - oo - thes" I don't even know how to write it to give you an idea, but I'm really clear now.
By the way, when I listen to video the first time I try not to use text(transcription). Only my ears. Most of the time. Very often I do not seat near my computer and use radiophone connected to it. I can do some work at home simultaneously.
Thank you for watching! I'm a little busy at the moment, so I won't be making many videos until the end of September, but I haven't stopped completely ;).
Great video Max-a-million! For Americans, which spelling is most appropriate? I put on weight, which caused my clothes to fit tighter. OR I put on weight, which caused my clothing to fit tighter. Many thanks, All good things… Ronny
Thank you for your efforts. Do you believe in that choosing clothes is necessary for teacher to affect in her - his students or viewers? Some women teachers on RUclips wear in purpose sexy clothes during teaching to earn more viewers and subscribers? What do think?
I think there are people who do that across all fields (not just teaching). But we also need to be careful not to judge - some people just wear certain clothes because they like them.

We use "another" if the noun is singular and if we would use "a" or "an" in front of it.
E.g. A banana -> Another banana.

Ms Max if we added s to word (cloths) the pronunciation is changed or not

Hi, Max. How are you doing? I only have a question. Is the word fabric the same than coth? Could I say either one in a sentence?
If you're talking about woven material, then I think you can use them interchangeably (at least I can't think of any situations where you can't ;)).
But "fabric" can also be used in another context. See C2:
