This may slightly pre-date the moments shown here. During a 1997 game versus the Giants, Redskins QB Gus Frerotte basically head-butted a padded wall during a TD celebration. He sustained a neck sprain and earned a trip to the hospital as a result. The game ended in a 7-7 tie.

That wasn't a body slam. A body slam is when you scoop someone up and slam their body on the mat. What Gronk did was a splash - throwing his body onto a prone opponent. Also, Gronk sucks at pro-wrestling the same way he sucks at being a decent human - couldn't do it well if he were paid for it.

These videos are not worth watching. Forget the commentary that is a bit cringe, they rarely SHOW the play/event they are talking about. Many times just pictures of the person involved that are completely unrelated. Wouldn't fair use allow the actual clips to be used?

The reason that they didn't give the ball to lynch is because passing it took up more time and they didn't want to give the ball to the come-back king and redzone efficacy was through the roof so 99% of the time that play workes
