- Battlefield 2042 Season 7 is out and in this video we'll discuss the new map and changes to see if it's worth it for players to hop back in. This season brings with it the new map Haven, along with 3 new weapons, the AK 5C and SCZ-3, and the return of the Predator SRAW. I haven't played much Battlefield 2042 since Season 6, so this was a good chance to come back and test out all of the balance changes that Dice has made. I didn't really notice the new visual recoil changes all that much, but the new map Haven is pretty fun. Thanks for watching! #battlefield #battlefield2042

"Who cares is my stance" is my exact stance on most things when people complain about getting content to play lol.
Yeah, as a periphery player I just don't have the time or energy to really care ya know? If we were day to day, super invested players I would feel a bit more iffy as this season is very content-lite and they are drip feeding things like the map and the vehicle, but as someone who comes back for about 10 hours a season, it's a meh for me. Hope you're doing awesome man!
I really need to play this update - but I've been the same way. Hop in, have a blast, fall off due to time and whatever, and repeat.
I feel like we're taught now that this kind of cycle of hop back in when things are new and then bounce is bad, when in reality, it's a super chill and normal way to enjoy a game
I got 2042 for free on PS Plus and I've had a blast every time I play it, but Id still say its like a C+
Yeah movement is so mushy still, there are fun times within though

I play mnk on everything but halo. I played halo on mnk for about 3 years straight however I swapped back to controller for Infinite about 3 months ago as I mainly play ranked these days

I love Battlefield. I support 2042, only problem I have is that they haven't added support for KB and Mouse on consoles, in the past few years competitive FFS i prefer to play with MK, I cant stand using a controller anymore. My PC cannot handle this game at competitive fps. It had killed off my desire to play BF2042
I wanted to play 2042 with my old BF squad when it was released, but it was such a messy release that eventually nothing came together, at least in the long run.
TBH I only really started to play the game recently, after all those changes and finally with a PC that does not stutter like hell (even with good or at least okay-ish performance - had to blame problems with NVIDIA Reflex for that as I found out 😂). For me, this BF feels a lot more solo friendly compared to older titles - at least I don't get shredded to bits like it is often the case in BF1 or BFV. 😁 I also have to agree that it feels a bit - don't know how to call it - off, maybe? But not in a bad way, maybe it IS more like Hardline (I only played the open beta of Hardline back then). Nevertheless, 2042 will never be my favourite game of the series, but at least now it is playable and well worth giving it another shot if you already own it. Looking forward to playing a lot more of the "BF games I missed/did not play a lot" (everything after BF4) in the upcoming future. :D
Oh no way, you have reflex issues too!? I had to turn it off on this update because it was causing a weird hitching every like 5 seconds
@@BBKDRAGOON Yep, it was the only way to get smooth gameplay in all BF games. Took me YEARS to finally figure that out! 😂
Haven got me so bored playing a few game....map just too small and doesn't feel like 2042 anymore. Need to add night on every map be freaking sick
Nah. Not when we got the free to play The Finals out. Made by the core devs that made battlefield good in the first place.
2042 lost my interest and cba to even go back to it, dont have the time to waste on games that simply dont do it for me
I fully understand and respect this. There are far too many good games right now too
No matter what else they're doing with this game, you can't even call it the bare minimum anymore. And even then they manage to mess something up...
Hopefully the next Battlefield nails it from the start
