This was the game I was going to buy a PS5 for. But now that you can't find a PS5 for under 800 USD due to scalpers at least I have MKIceAndFire's videos to watch.
Exact same thoughts.
I was going to buy a PS5 too but what really convinced me to not buy one is the abusive censorship policy of Sony and the lack of a decent retrocompatibility with older PlayStation games.

This planet was taken from ratchet and clank: tools of destruction since there are similar locations it's just night there but in older game it was day
Also we all know that the the way how pirates act is just a huge reference to pirates of caribbean but not anyone can notice that this planet was in another game of RC series

Oh man. The way Rivet was talking about how she lost her arm to one of Nefarious's Warbots, and Kit tired to tell her that she was the Warbot. Well, I think we all know that how that one is going to turn out later. But on a lighter note, who here doesn't love a good life or death battle on the Pirate infested waters of Ardolis. Ah, good times. Only thing we're missing is a Captain Swag counterpart to complete the collection. I would also like to suggest something to those pirates in the prison cell, you can keep doing that forever, the dog is never going to move. (Please tell me someone remembers that line from the first POC film, otherwise, shame on you.) Another thing, aren't you going to dance the jig and prove your worth as a pirate? Also, I loved that mission on Torryn IV, because it reminded me of when Ratchet met Azimuth, plus the Vullards are just plain funny in my opinion.

Tbh I was replaying RC Tools of destruction and this planet is also in that game watching this planet remade gave me deja vu though it was dark unlike the other game

Maybe it is just the lack of weapons being used to their fullest but the weapons in this game feels very sterile and samey. Like it was hard for me to tell which weapons are which in these gameplay vids.

Honestly this game should've just been called Rivet & Clank: Rift Apart instead of Ratchet & Clank. Because it just doesn't feel like a Ratchet & Clank game. Why I say this because Rivet seemed to have more on time screen. And we played as her more. Ratchet just felt like more of an invite guess a side character that's not much of importance. I don't mind the new character in fact I like Rivet. But Ratchet just didn't have more on time screen. The game is still great but it's not what I expected to be. Should've been two missions for Ratchet and two missions for Rivet and so on.
I agree. I like Rivet but I thought this game would be more about Ratchet and the Lombaxes. It feels like it came out years too late with how similar it is to Crash 4. It's not bad by any means but it's starting to feel like a samey slog.
Dr. Nefarious should've not been the main villain again. They should've added a new villain instead to keep the game fresh. But they didn't even do that. But like I said before not even adding Rivet would've kept the game fresh. So what's the point of adding new weapons if it's going to be the same thing over and over again. Without not much change in a Ratchet & Clank game with the exception of a new character. Like I said I'm a fan Ratchet & Clank but I expected to be something much more different. Everything in the game is beautiful but you know it could've been better.

This Ratchet and Clank game is so "woke", it sickens me. And this was a game I would get the PS5 for, now any reason for me to buy the PS5, has gone out the window 😭.
Just because it has a gender-bent Ratchet and Clank and darker-skinned Quark? Those are alternate dimension versions and even then it's very subtle. Really don't see how this is as bad as other woke examples.
Nah dude you are just mad, there is no wokeness in the game it is litterally a game with alternate versions of the universe we know.
The 2nd verse of the Sea Shanty felt very forced. Didn't know if it was an attempt at humor but failed very bad. Makes me miss the humor in the PS2 games.
@@mortenlarsen7220 I'm not mad, I am sad, they messed up Ratchet and Clank. The charm is gone, and the wokeness is prevalent. Maybe the whole game is not like this, but I still won't get the PS5.

Having a female rachet from a different uiverse is not wokeness, im sorry man that is not wokeness. She is litterally a love interrest for rachet, and has a completely different story from rachet. Wokeness would have been if they suddenly made rachet trans, or some other weird BS. I hate to say however this is just you being mad, you want rachet and clank to stay the same forever and only males are allowed to be in the game or its woke. I am 100% against the woke BS propoganda, however this is not it.
