You mentioned Lossie and your partner choosing which is fair enough but I can't tell you how glad I am I got sent up here in Feb even though I put Coningsby down as my number one. I got to spend a few months at Coningsby on a course but everything about it was just worse!
@benbrookes44 oh really? What makes it enjoyable?! Me and my fiancé are really considering it as we know how gorgeous Scotland is and I’ve only heard bad things about lossie from people who haven’t even got them yet ironically. What was that course?
@@JakeGchannel Probably the best mess in the raf, decent gym, good club selection, ect gorgeous area like you say with all the beaches, hills and even an Abbey with live in monks. I could go on but this might not be the best place to go into proper detail. Just curious what issues people bring up, most things I heard were exaggerated and if its just coming from trainees dont pay too much attention. I went Coningsby for my typhoon mech Q course which is just all about typhoon. Worst raf mess, terrible blocks, boarded up local village ect. mylossie dot com is a good website if you havent seen it before!
im in halton atm and im on a 2 week break for christmas, your videos have helped me guide through it, and MANY people in halton at the moment, you are currently a youtube star around camp

the toilets and showers are in the blocks you sleep in pal, you will see em all when you go there on monday, im there currently, ill see you there soon pal, just stick through the first 2 weeks, theyre very boring
@ thank you, also im going to get my haircut the day before, however my hair grows quickly so guarantee i will need another one during the 10 weeks is there a barber on base or will i have to get my haircut on leave ?
@kristianchristodoulides8291 theres a camp barber, dont worry about it. Not sure if you'll get leave going in at that time of year tho, try to enjoy ur ten weeks

With coat hangers do you have to bring some for your civi clothes aswell or can you just fold them ?
@kristianchristodoulides8291 you can fold them but I did both to ‘bulk’ out the locker if that makes any sense.

@ I can’t remember but 2 jumpers, probably like 4/5 pairs of trousers, 3 pairs of shorts maybe and a bunch of shirts + socks + boxers.
