Spanish Rice Recipe:
2 lbs ground beef
2 medium onions (diced)
2 green peppers (diced)
16 oz tomato sauce
28 oz can whole tomatoes
1 cup rice
1 cup water
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp chili flakes (optional - to taste)
Brown beef in large pot or Dutch oven and drain fat. Put all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or on high 3 hours.
Stove top method: Same as above except simmer all ingredients for 40 minutes.
Cool and Place on dehydrator trays. Dehydrate for 12 - 14 hours at 167degrees. (dehydrating times may vary depending on model of dehydrator).
