They rewrote the lyrics of Victoria Wood's original song. Have a listen to that too, it's really funny. Yes, Julie Gardner, Jane Tranter and RTD are the heroes of New Who.
While based on Victoria Wood's song, this was written and adapted Who-Style by Jennie Fava. She, according to the _Tardis Data Core,_ was the 2nd Assistant Director on Series 3, 4 and the Specials.
(She's good friends with David & Georgia Tennant and is married to Christian Brassington, who appeared in the Five-ish Doctors Reboot, which was asst directed by Jennie.)
I love this tribute to them. Julie had been on at RTD for about 5 years before he buckled and said “oh to hell with it”, lol. Side note I have that Police Box phone. 😁
Hearing this song makes me sad we've lost Victoria Wood :( But this is such an adorable version. They look like they're having so much fun! And it really does remind how much we owe to Julie, Russel (and Jane) for bringing our favourite show back to life and doing it so well!
I loved it the first time I saw it. I've watched it a few times since. It is done well and it tells a story. Don't forget the Doctor Who version of 500 miles.
i love this too plus david tennant is my fave doctor forever and i’ve grown up with classic who starting with the 3rd doctor jon pertwee onwards. my other fave doctors are 11 and 12 and my fave companions are rose, donna, river song and amy. i loved when missy was the female master. i don’t like jodie’s era at all. David Tennant, Catherine Tate etc are filming now for the 60th anniversary and i’ve heard that peter capaldi and nardole are coming back to and possibly matt smith and karen gillen and if they all come back it will be like christmas came early lol. you should check out the hillywood parody of doctor who and the 10th doctor it’s brilliant. take care 🏴😘
This was actually a reworking of the classic Victoria Wood song "Let's do it!" - about a middle-aged married couple contemplating getting frisky for the first time in many years :D ruclips.net/video/fFI5Jl_IqsE/видео.html Looking forward to what you have in store next!
I genuinely expected it to fail immediately, because this is what fans had become used to. It was a bit of a shock when people were actually liking it again. This had not been the case to the same extent even in my childhood.
I miss David and Catherine. The other day I was watching them both in random interviews. They have such great chemistry
(Singing) guess what?! You’re going to do it AGAIN!😂😂😂😂😂

Watching that video reminds me of the good old days. I can't believe that it was over 10 years ago.

Like you Donna doctor one of favourite teams you can see they really have fun in each other's company
Donna's easily the best female companion in New Who, by a country mile
Ar Yes this is a classic great Reaction its so fun!
So that's what Doctor, Donna, and Jack are doing in their free time:/

Did the three of them rewrite lyrics? So bloody clever.
Have you reacted to "The Curse of Fatal Death" starring Rowan Atkinson as the Doctor?
