Honestly, Amrabad has the biggest Core zone in India, the tigers do not have to come out of their big core zone, hence no sightings...that is the reality.

When hunting was legal in India, these same Chenchu tribals used to guide hunters in the forest. “Hunting blocks” used to be there at that time in different parts of the forest. The department used to do a lottery for those blocks. Those who got a lucky draw would then be issued permits for the wild animals available for hunting for a nominal fee. There were NO man-eaters in and around the forest and no crop protection due to hunting season. No thieves or robbers and no illegal felling of trees or smuggling of any forest products. Due to LEGAL hunting activities, no poachers would enter the forest. Hunters were keeping the forest safe plus generating revenue from permits.
Unfortunately those golden days of hunting are gone but culling of crop raiding wild animals ( wild boars & Nilgai) are done by hunters with the proper permission from the village gram panchayat administration. Forest department has nothing to do in this matter since culling is done outside the forest.
