Another great one ☝️ I did a similar ride back in 2017 from a turn off from the Oxley Hyw near Gingers Creek to Gloucester, took photo at the same lookout.
another great effort Phil , travelled Elands Black Flat Mount George & back again for over eight years , on a XR 600 to work in the mill night shift , every trip had a little adventure to get there & back home , learnt a lot , most brand rear tyre lasted around three weeks
Good to hear from you Mark 😎👍 Yeah, bit of hick for you to get to work mate! And what a classic bike to get there 😎 PS- the tube I got of you is still holding air 👍 Catch ya
Thanks David 👍 As for riding down that way, there's so many stunning farm back roads. I'll be doing a loop ride in a week or so down there, coming out near Nabiac. May give you more ideas mate 👍
I have been corrected by a local there on the Pronunciation of Tiri , I was told it is Tye rye . just so you know . Some great riding in that area . I enjoy your vids , thanks for taking the time to film and edit them .
Lots of good roads around Gloucester and it's only 2 north of Newcastle where I live. We are camping at Bretti on the 9th,10th, in September just north of Gloucester . It's the motoguzzi rally
Was only in Gloucester last week, the scenery there is absolutely spectacular, its certainty gods country thats for sure! Once again another great edit, always looking forward to seeing your videos, keep up the great work!👍👌
I'm actually going from Gloucester to Port Macquarie via whatever is interesting and what I haven't ridden before. Great to see you are covering more south of Coffs too 👍
As per usual Phil, bit of useless food critic knowledge, good pies and s/rolls main street and good H/burgers at Barrington General store/ servo.Just to give you a bit of a giggle!!!Keep them coming!!!
Love your relaxing cruisey touring style. I show my wife bits of your videos - she is a bit scared of getting on the back of my dr650 but reckon Im getting her to come around with your "easy going" riding with nothing too snotty for the most part :) Love the road you did today I believe I got "pre approval" for those roads muchly appreciated mate hahahahh. We plan on doing some weekend camping trips once my bikes got its suspension reworked (crikey they are soft in the arse standard)
I can't blame her for not overly excited about being doubled- I hate being on the back!...lol But a good way to both share the ride / adventure I guess. Glad you enjoy the videos Daniel, they're fun to do and make. I'll be out camping also once it warms a tad- I hate the cold...lol Cheers mate 👍
I offered to buy her a bike but shes not interested in getting a licence :( she would rather be on the back apparently hahaha, but makes life a bit harder packing for x2 people for sure, the dr is gunna be real heavy lols. I think thats the difference - once you got a licence you dont want to ride shotgun anymore (im the same)
The upper Manning valley is really spectacular. I travelled on the train earlier this year and saw country I’ve never seen before. Big hills with contours dug into them next to bigger hills covered in trees. The effort to dig those contours must have been immense.
Hi Karl, yeah I seen some of those hill side cuts as I rode back this morning. Certainly up and down country west of Taree down to Nabiac for sure. Cheers mate
@@MidCoastAdventures the farm I grew up on and still have an interest in has contours cut into some hills too. However over the decades the contours erode and gradually fade away.
G'day Phil, been watching your videos for quite some time being local to some of these areas. I'm just planning this ride for this week (17 Aug 22). When did you do your ride? It's looking dry and the water level isn't too bad. Really love these videos mate, can't wait to explore those areas some more. Hope to see you out there!
Hi Brett, cheers for the positive feedback mate 👍 The ride was literally yesterday (edited last night, uploaded this morning) made for a long day!...lol So perfect conditions for riding out now. Ps, If you down this way, message me on Messenger, may be able to catch up for a ride. PPS- subbed to your channel. Looks like I have some videos to catch up on 😁😎👍
Phil, beautiful opening music & as always you're an absolute pleasure to have on my screen. Thoroughly enjoy every episode & subscribed ' way back'.well done to you. (PST....what is that opening song called or where can I hear it in its entirety ?) ,
Cheers for the very positive feedback Peter 😎👍 As for the song, well, I tried hard to find a link for you but failed- sorry mate. It was downloaded off a royalty free site on RUclips, but now it seems to be gone.
Cheers Troy. Now run ning Kenda Claws front and rear- theyre a great value 50 / 50 tyre. The Motoz are great too- super tough side walls and lasted me around 5000 kays.
Nice route i didn't know about. Have family in Wingham, but haven't been to Gloucester simce the 80s. Temps in the high 30s are common in summer round that area with no wind at all. Not the most pleasantexperience. Strange weather, it can look like rain, with a huge black storm blowing in from the ocean and go round in circles all day long without a drop of rain and roll away leaving the place dry as a bone.
I really enjoyed this. I’m not a bike rider myself but enjoy your wonderings in the bush. My father grew up in Mount George and his father ended up managing one of the mills there and cut timber around there for years. Boserios are a well known family around there. I still enjoy getting up there for a weekend of camping and fishing. Lots of good tracks in the area.
Wonderful! Wingham was my hometown. Great to watch. Thankyou!
Glad you enjoyed it mate 👍 Wingham is great little place, and surrounded by cool places to explore hey 😎
Love the country the side up there beautiful views thanks Phil 👍👍🍺
Great Vid, Music and scenery, thank you Phil!
Glad you enjoyed it RJ 😎👍
Stunning country!!!
Thanks Phil !!!
Thanks for the video mate. Absolute privilege to ride in this great land👌
No worries mate, glad you enjoyed it 👍
That was good, been on some of those roads, beautiful country. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it Ronald, and cheers for the feedback 😎👍
THANKS Phil that trip is now on my Bucket List 👍👌🏍 as usual QUALITY Video and THANK YOU for putting the road names in 🙏🙏
No problems, and glad you enjoyed it mate 😎👍 Ps, there's a map link in the description below 👍
Thank you so much 🏍👍
Great use of footage Phil :) most enjoyable
Cheers Gumby 😎👍
Another great Video to watch and share your day ! Love it . . I'm originally from Nambucca valley and miss the coast an all it it offers. Thanks.
Cheers Rodney for the kind words mate 👍 Nambucca is a pretty place hey- plenty of hills!- but definitely a nice part of the MNC .
Thank you once again for a great video . Last year I purchased a DR 650 to go dirt riding and have been watching your videos with great interest.
Glad you enjoy the vids David. Get out and enjoy the bike mate- we only live once 👍 Cheers
Thanks Phil. Pissing down and cold up here on the Tablelands so watching this was quite cathartic. I think I need to move!
🤣 nah don't move, stunning up where you live- if not a little cold over winter. I'll be up that way camping / exploring as soon as it warms a tad👍
Nice ride thanks for sharing
No worries, thanks for watching mate 👍

Cool Andrew 👍 I haven't gone from Gingers Creek south. But I know the run. It's on the list...lol

Another awesome ride and video Phil. A lot of my favourite country around there, wish I lived closer. This has given me great ideas though :)

Thanks for the info none none. I'm the master at pronouncing town and place names wrong 🤣 I'll remember the Tye rye one for next time 👍
Living your best life 👍
What a magnificent day to just cruise around. That country up there is stunning.
I thoroughly enjoy your videos Phil, see you on the next one..
Many thanks David! I love that part of the MNC, I just need the time to explore it, and beyond, more. Cheer mate 👍
Nice ride I would like to get down that way thanks for putting it up.
No problem Richard👍

Hi Daniel. Definitely a nice little town. And those rocky hills behind- what a back drop! Cheers for the kind words mate 👍
Planning this almost exact route for next month's ride myself, but you beat me hahahaha. Alot of area to explore, thanks for the footage
🤣 well, now you know what your in for. Just keep on riding from Gloucster if you can, out to Carters Road and beyond. Stunning out there👍
I'm actually going from Gloucester to Port Macquarie via whatever is interesting and what I haven't ridden before. Great to see you are covering more south of Coffs too 👍
@@ThatKLRrider There's some great runs between Gloucester and Port. Once on the coast, go from Harrington to Lauriton via Crowdy NP. Enjoy mate
i've driven some of those roads - tiri bridge is one of the last of its construction type apparently - i enjoy your vids
Cheers Pabrizzer. Definitely some nice country down that way. Glad you like the vids mate 👍
Nice relaxing cruise around Phil, loving your style of photography. 39 degrees would not have been fun.
Thanks Bazz 😎👍. I don't like rushing around. Love to soak up where I'm at. Catch ya mate
