Personally I don't think I'll be buying the Switch 2 until there's a new AC announced. My switch works just fine so I'll skip straight to the special edition when it comes out.
I might end up doing the same but it will be hard. I didn’t really really want a Switch until Animal Crossing came out but i got a Lite in teal cause there wasn’t much of a choice with everyone jumping on the bandwagon. Ended up getting a Switch console when the Animal Crossing one came out and been playing it since and have a bunch of games. I didn’t really like the colors of the original Switch. So it depends n the color scheme 2 is. If i like it I might get it, if not i might wait i had been considering and OLED but reason I didn’t was i knew 2 would be coming out in the next year or so
I’m planning on holding off on buying the switch 2 until there is an AC special edition. I’ve got a pretty big backlog as it is to keep working through 😅
This is my first Animal Crossing game, and as much as I've enjoyed it, after seeing what previous games were, I'm looking forward to seeing what the next game will be.
Of course I'm looking forward to whatever the next Animal Crossing game will be, but considering I still play AC City Folk, New Leaf and Gamecube versions regularly (even Wild World now and then), I'm sure I'll keep playing New Horizons right along with them on Switch AND Switch 2. An Animal Crossing for every mood! Thanks for keeping us up to date! ~February~
Another thing in animal crossing news that you might have missed is that the adventure aquarium in Camden New Jersey is doing an animal crossing event. Don't know if it's sponsored by Nintendo or not but it's still kind of cool to look into
If there is a new Animal Crossing on Switch2, I need Resetti being mean to me again, and Celeste having her planetarium. If not, I guess I'm transferring my first island to Switch 2 cause I just started a new island on a second system.
I have no intention of getting rid of my old Switches when the Switch 2 drops, so I'll probably keep my islands on there and start a new one on the new Switch 🤩 That said, depending on the launch titles I'm probably not going to buy one on release, maybe not even until the new Animal Crossing drops unless they come out with an awesome LoZ game or perhaps Splatoon4 before then.
It used to be free with microtransactions, but now the game is paid and all the microtransaction items are free!! It seems like a steep price but it's like paying for minecraft app.
I am probably waiting until we get a new animal crossing or zelda game is announced. I barely use my switch rn. I am ready to move onto the next AC game.
If you've played the free version, you'll know right away that this is an amazing price! Pocket camp used to be free with microtransactions but now all microtransactions are free with purchase of the app 🤗 ive played both free version and paid, and have spent a bit of money in the free version. While you don't get real friend interactions in the new version of the app, I highly recommend the paid version over the free version imo!
After I get Hello Kitty Island Adventure game next Thursday. I will, start saving for the Switch 2 system to play animal crossing and Pokémon also many more games. :) 😊
I plan to buy the switch 2 right away but I'm uncertain about what will happen will my island ad I don't want to lose it but do want to make another. I wonder if it is possible to transfer the Nintendo account but not the island on the original device. Are two accounts needed for 2 islands or merely 2 devices?
I want the new stich so badly, def gonna transfer my island. I'll give my actual switch to my niece, so she can enjoy it at home - and we'll be visiting each other
I really prefer the switch lite as I don't have a TV, but I'm probably going to preorder the switch 2 as soon as available because I don't want to deal with any shortages or difficulties getting the console. Not sure if I'm gonna transfer my island or not though🤔
I JUST deleted my og island so I’ll for sure probably start fresh on the new console. But I do wonder IF we get a new AC game for the S2 if it’ll impede on the rule “one island per console” and we’d have to transfer our old island over to in order to play a fresh play on the new game.
Ive played animal crossing since city folk, including pocket camp. Pocket camp is an amazing mobile version of the game with it's own things such as npc furniture and it's amazing catalogue of cosmetics!! I hope that the new AC game will include some of these features 😊
im 100% starting a new island ive been wanting a second island for so long edit: im also honestly just ready for the next game at this point. been getting real annoyed at how lackluster new horizons was after going back and playing new leaf again for the first time in a while so im looking forward to what could possibly be a higher quality game with a lot of things nh improved (eg inventory system) but a lot of features that were left out too
The mobile game is just ok. But seriously, I like Mario cart but how many Mario cart games do we need?? Animal Crossing is one of their biggest games of all time but they won’t make another?? Or add updates to the existing game? How stupid is that?!
Im going to transport my acnh island to my new switch 2. I can't wait. But if there's another animal Crossing Game I will have two islands to condensed with.
Def make a new island!🤓 I already have 3 going.😅 I think instead of making us buy another console to have another island, they should just charge like $20 or so to have another island. Yeah, plenty of people bought more systems to have them, but some people can't buy a whole new console.😶 I bet some people would buy like 10 extra islands...🙋 which would make them spend even more money.💸 Just my thought.🎮💭
I don't have Ninetendo Switch.I would like get Switch 2 but I'm sure it will too expensive to get. So I will stick with Animal Pocket Camp Complete for now.
They're gonna have to drop AC with the switch or they're not gonna be selling as many as they'd hoped. Lol All us AC people who basically bought the switch for AC won't budge on the new one for the same reason.
I'm ready for a new AC game that allows us to have more villagers so I don't have to be in turmoil trying to choose between all my favourites. That being said, probably by the time I can afford a Switch 2, there will already be a new AC game, so I won't stress about it. Lol.
I don’t want the switch 2 due to the hand controller and cause there r not many games I like on the switch but ik there will be games that won’t work on the current switch
I haven't played new horizons for about a year now. Nothing's new, no more goals, I don't even feel like finishing the island deco I had in mind. Pocket camp is cool, but 11€ for a mobile game when there's already a free version? What's even diferent?
I will never buy switch to if they are not going to announce a new animal crossing game. I will wait until there is a new animal crossing game before I will buy switch 2 because if they’re expecting me to play the new horizons on a switch 2 I can just play that on my switch 1😂 And I hope they make an open world animal crossing game and include all the cute things from all animal crossing release items even the items on pocket camp should be added to the new animal crossing game
I truly believe in updates to existing games, and making people buy new equipment is bad for the environment. I think updates with new items, and new features should always be the goal. It also allows people with limited funds to participate. We need to provide happiness to our communities, not separate them from the “haves” and “have nots “.
Uuuuu 🤩 I would like to know is if there will be a future Nintendo Switch 2 colab with AC 🥹 cuz well I liked the previous colab and stoped using a borowed switch to buy my own because of this since I only played that game back in the day 😅

I agree I will not buy another switch until they announce and release a new animal crossing game in 2026 and then I might buy one
I have no need for a new Switch so I'll stay with what I have until they get around to a new AC
@@ck-videography yes!

Who said there was an Animal Crossing edition coming to the new Nintendo Switch?
That happened to me on my first switch and I was disappointed because I should have waited to get the animal crossing switch
Me too lol
This is my first Animal Crossing game, and as much as I've enjoyed it, after seeing what previous games were, I'm looking forward to seeing what the next game will be.
The Animal Crossing sea Life Centre collab needs to add at least one Scotland and Welsh date to truly make it a UK tour
Facts, this whole "UK Tour" but only showing up in England thing is bullshit.
@@herschell64 There isn't one in Wales. The Loch Lomond site is the only one not in England
Is the tour only there this year or are they also still doing it in the US?

$20 for a mobile game is insane
@@samuelmelendez7566 I mean, I’ve bought Final Fantasy or other RPG games at that price or less or more, so it’s fine

A mobile game that's over seven years old too. Even with the "free" microtransaction items lol it doesn't seem worth it.
I am probably waiting until we get a new animal crossing or zelda game is announced. I barely use my switch rn. I am ready to move onto the next AC game.
I saw on the app store animal crossing pocket camp is $12.99 still pricey to me

Yes I’m looking forward to it and made sure I had island transfer tool
After I get Hello Kitty Island Adventure game next Thursday. I will, start saving for the Switch 2 system to play animal crossing and Pokémon also many more games. :) 😊
Well, I just started a new island last May. But it depends on how late the console comes out in the year. Idk , yet lol
I’ll probably give my cousin my old switch and get the new one. I don’t think I can handle more than 3 switches when I barely use my other one
I'm gonna be moving my island over because you can't get some of the stuff anymore and I'm not about to loose my items!
I am excited for the next AC game. But I have a perfect working switch so I am not in a rush for the new console
good thing i bought pocket camp for $10 usd
They need to make it possible to move our character and look around. It is so aggravating to be stuck in on direction and not able to turn around.
I’ll definitely move my island over to the Switch 2. I don’t plan on keeping my Switch 1 seeing as 2 will be backwards compatible.

It's such a shame how animal crossing new horizons was dropped. It had alot of potential. New leaf is still at the top for me.
