I remember watching a lot of the C9 behind the scenes content early last year and it seemed that they had a good working relationship (blaber asking summit if certain picks are okay, their banter out of game, etc)
@@user-vz7lo2bb3iIt’s a strange situation, cause i remember when they dumped Summit and Winsome for Jensen and Fudge back to top, that Blaber said one of the reasons of the change was that they wanted to stop working with him specifically, so it seems things are better now between them.
@@chuy9133 I always understood that was most likely for in-game reasons, not out-of-game reasons. Summit always seemed like a great guy - they just couldn't stop him from overextending and getting hard-focused by the other teams, which is the main reason they burned out of playoffs that season.

If were talking straight improvement. Zven has gotten crazy better at support since he started, and he works hard and grinds all the time. C9 botlane is genuinely their best players. I hope that after the seasons over and we see a bunch of trades and moves, that zven and berserker still have a spot on C9.

There is absolutely no way Blaber actually thinks bel'veth R5 is good there, why keep counterpick for jungle as well?
In isolation the champ is good into the champs that they chose. The problem is that you need prio in the early game to make it work. C9 going r4 jax is the main problem. If they had picked something that can get prio top side which would allow blaber to get first dibs on hearld it would have been fine for the most part. Late game wise bel'veth does well into those champs. Blaber did mess up the draft, but the draft was already losing before R4.

Thank you for showing the call to pick BelVeth really wanted to know who was to blame, its both blaber and mithy, ultimately, i think mithy should say "fuck no, its bad" but its probably hard to say no to your star jungler when he sounds that confident in the pick.
Yeah, although at the end of the day, it's the coaches job to reign in the players. Again, it's hard to fault him because Blaber is just THAT good, but BelVeth was 100% a mistake. Hindsight 20/20. Let's just hope they learned from it.
honestly while it wasnt an ideal pick, a lot of failures in that match came down to emenes playing extremely poorly as orianna into sylas which should be a really easy lane. it lead to no agency and meant he couldnt support fudge getting camped in top lane. but you could still put some blame on blabber overall like for the sejuani pick against LNG where an obvious poppy angle would have been a free win into their team comp

How is it Blabers fault Emenes crashed his wave badly and lost prio in Ori vs Sylas matchup though. Fudge was stomping a Jax vs Rumble matchup, but Faker was allowed to just leave and then Blaber couldn't cover top and was just fucked because he was behind. The pick was bad but Emenes really fucked jungle and top with his first 5 waves.

@@mcguigan97 yeah no. The team as a whole did not do well in the T1 game I will give you that. Zven cannot play engage champs well which is why when enchanters are strong he looks good. He doesn’t have the aggressive engage midset and will default to playing passive which is why he and berserker are never ahead in lane.

They can’t play through mid because Emenes is too passive, and bot is doing well enough on their own. They could maybe get something out of more bot but I think they would just lose topside harder.
