I found a little kitten outside my store a couple of days ago and no one wanted take it. I lost my dog this year and kinda been missing him. been watching tons of cat videos cause i dont know anything about cats. Jackson your videos have taught me a lot for this little guy thanks. I cant wait to spoil this little fur ball

The most important thing for renters or those in an HOA is do not call it a catio when asking for approval, because lots of people think cats are bad. Ask to make a "screened in porch or balcony." They don't need to know the cats will enjoy it.
My Joanna's catio is our screened-in back porch. She's claimed the whole thing as hers. She loves spreading out on the sills of the screen and watching birds (and squirrels) enjoying our backyard feeder. And right now she's really enjoying the cicadas (she's the only one).
My Speck comes in with his mouth clamped shut and you can hear the buzzing and see his whole head vibrating. It’s hysterical. But, soon enough the cicada will stop buzzing and he’ll spit it out. Then, he gets to catch it again only this time it’s in the house. He has the best time. I hate that game.
One more human family is given the “Kitty Friendly “ award 🥇 I had my back porch converted into a catio also. They have an elevated view of the trees and bird feeders. In the winter I put up plexiglass, and heavy clear plastic so they can enjoy it in the cooler seasons too.😻
So many great catios! I can’t have a catio at my apartment but my fiancé and I did what we could to have plenty of indoor furniture for our 3 fur babies. We got a coupe of window hammocks and we converted some old shelves into cat condos. We recycled free furniture and used scrap carpet to keep it budget friendly. 😸😸😸
we found that my cats love the giant storage container for the blankets. the bookcases, the tub, the dressers, the packing paper from a delivery. its been funny finding such silly cat furniture for them
Is it about nothing built into the existing things, or could you have a pop up area or tent for them which can be removed? Or is the rule there because they don't want them outside because small space, humans don't clean up after their cats well enough (or cat is upset and not burying their poop.) Hopefully your apartment want to work with you rather than a no and slaming the door.
@@Sovereignty3 I live in the second story and the patio area is really small. I never thought about a pop up tent though. 🤔 It does say no netting attached to the structure. We have a bamboo cover on the railing because our youngest fur baby can fit through the bars. I have some fake grass and a few cat beds out there. I let them on the patio a few mornings a week but only if I can watch them.
I wanted to comment Jackson that I used your slow blinking methods and other methods to help show a cat affection and it's amazing. In December we adopted a cat who had previously been duct taped in a Rubbermaid container for an unknown length of time. I slow blink at him multiple times a day, let him come up to me, etc and now he's a cuddle bug ❤️
Thank you. I never thought i could have outdoor room for cats. Now i believe i can do it on a budget. My 3 cats are Gregg 14, Bonhe 10, Rhony 7 in March 2023. I am amazed at the window one its terrific and the hollowed out tree trunk wonderful. Thanks to everyone sharing their amazing Catio's. Love Bernadette xoxox
After sneaky door dashing and climbing the neighbor's Cedar tree to better look at the crows and jays, Ziggy got a Catio. Oliver from two doors to the west decided he liked Ziggy and started to break into the house. After 11 months , Oliver officially moved in last month.
Thank you for this! I made it for my rescue. She’s been in the streets for 4 1/2 years. And I adopted her. She loves going outside to look around but loves living inside her home.
Lovely video, Jackson Galaxy. Thank you. 8 rescue cats live in luxury with this old cat lady. They have a bedroom/playroom just for themselves and a large all-weather catio just outside their window. (One of the bonuses of having your children grow up and leave home.....it makes space for more cats!!) A catio can be small, too. A beautiful sunny, secure window catio is lovely if you don't have a huge amount of space.
My three girls will have their catio soon. We just moved 2,200 km from Hermanus, Western Cape, South Africa to the top end of KZN (also South Africa). They went from indoor/outdoor cats to being confined mostly to a bedroom for the past month. As soon as my garden flat is completed the Catio will be built. Two of the girls are 11 years old, the third is 6. Huge change in their little lives, but all for the best in time. Will be checking all your Catio tips to bring the outdoors (which they love) back to them. They are confined as there are four large dogs and two little ones on the property. Thank you Jackson for settings my mind at ease regarding changing to indoors cats. I was horribly stressed thinking i was being cruel by restricting them from their outdoor adventures.
I stapled mesh on my second floor patio.. Stuck a cat tree and grew some grass for waffles.. Might cost me some of my deposit when I remove the staples at the end of my lease. But absolutely worth it for him to enjoy some fresh air without the worry about high traffic up front of my apartment complex.
I’m on a fourth floor balcony, we bought lattices and zip tied them onto the bars. Still figuring out how to attach netting without a ladder and a harness, but I just make sure it’s supervised until we have that in there. Our landlord didn’t seem to care thankfully.
We built a catio that us humans and our dog can all hang out with the cat outside, and our cat LOVES it. We will be moving in the spring and we will be looking for a place with some catio potential!
Finally!!! This is what I try to do with my other half who loves our cats and who wants them to be happy and loves to catify our garden and home,it will help a lot !👍
Cats off to these people for making those beautiful spaces!!! I live in an apartment so I'm not allowed to build on my deck. I'm looking into a rolling one on wheels so that it's temporary but allows alittle outside time
for the last year of my cat, Piper, life, we had let her stay on the screened in and locked back porch. she loved it. great spots for sunning and gazing about her land.
Ok, I’m convinced. I’m going to build my own catio. My baby girl will love it, as she sometimes engages in unscheduled outdoor adventures. Thank you for the inspiration!
I got really lucky that our home already had a covered front porch & lucky to have a handy husband! We (he 😁 though I did “help”) just attached wire to enclose it & put in a screen door attached to one of the columns & added another post for the other side of the door. At our house, the UPS driver & visitors are greeted by our feline curiosity committee. 🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛ We have six. Two sets of bonded siblings & two singletons. One of the best parts is the floor to ceiling cat climbing pole. A thick 8ft tall pvc pipe with a large decorative outdoor area rug wrapped around it & screwed into place…in retrospect…velcro may have been a better option to attach the rug to more easily hose it down occasionally. We have several 2’x3’ litterboxes & put folding tables over them with cat beds for them to relax on. To avoid needing double doors or block access to our front door…I have a cat door in the window that I lock from inside the house (with all the cats indoors) when I want to clean inside the catio. In the future we plan to finish screening off the rest of the porch & have another unlocked screen door that UPS & guests can use to get to front door.
Yes, I've wondered lately how old this name has been a thing. My sister & her husband built their house & it has been through revisions as the family grew. They Had a full house width porch, but now part has become a screened in 3 season sitting room with 3 doors to access house & yard & porch. Now it's cat friendly & they've never called it a Catio, but it could be classified as such.
I moved in 2017. The best part of this house is the screened in porch. I have a pampasian chair for reading and Grace has a bench and old table out there to climb on She loves it. I have considered calling it a catio.
Early every weekday, my cat from hell, comes on tv. I'm old so I can sleep anytime. I try to wake up to watch that show everyday. Over the years I've had some cats that would drive some of those people nuts. It just seemed natural to do somethings. I guess it wasn't. I really love how you help the poor misunderstood cats.
Thank you Jackson for continuing to educate us about the wonderful world of cats. As a newish cat guardian, I plan on moving with my cat to an apartment with a balcony next year. I've already been looking at options to get a catio built on the balcony so my boy can continue to enjoy the outdoors when I move from my current place with a backyard to an apartment. I will continue to figure out what my cat likes best and catify as best I can to meet his needs 🐈
We've had catios for the last 8 years since and it is so awesome to see them catching on in such a big way!! One other note on the thickness of the wire/netting that you use is that our kittehs sometimes like to climb up said wire/netting and if it is too thin then it can cut their paws. Not such an issue with the smaller builds but larger ones it can definitely be a problem. Thanks for highlighting so many awesome builds xoxo
A catio is my next project. We have 11 indoor rescue cats. And we could all do with a little more space. So a catio is the plan. Get them outside where they can run off some energy, get out of each other (and our) hair. All while being safe. Just need to figure out where the best place to put it would be, both for the cats and us.
As someone living on the third floor, turning my balcony into a catio was on my list from the start. Sure, he goes for walks, but the sliding doors downstairs are always a challenge. So cat-proofing the balcony it was. It just took a while because there were a lot of odd and uneven angles and walls to work with. It was the best thing I could do though because my cat LOVES it there. A bite-proof net and being creative with wood did the trick. Now he can just go there whenever he pleases. It's like his personal retreat. My apartment's got a great view so there's much to see and enjoy for him.
Wow! I am blown away with all those AMAZING CATIOS!!! Thank you for another awesome video and tips Jackson!!! And for the people that built and sent those catios I give you...👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤
I would love a catio. My cat was a stray in the neighborhood . I got her shots and fixed and everything else that a young cat needs, before she became mine. She often looks at cat tv....watching all the other strays in the neighborhood among other stuff. I think she would enjoy being outside again.
My home is a natural Catio. We have large windows everywhere! We have an attic that we access by literally climbing into an upstairs “porch”. I was scared that Toes would fall off of it because the slats were wider than he was. However, over the months....he figured how to get passed my blockade, sits, sleeps and watches down at us from way up high. Not to mention, the ceiling windows everywhere. It is as if this home was perfectly built to accommodate my “tree” kitten. Now his brother Mush....has absolutely zero interest. All he wants to do is squish next to me....suckle on a furry blanket I keep by my side on my recliner while I rock him for hours. I can’t tell them apart until I look at their feet....hence the name “Toes” and “Mush”. I cannot tell you the level of joy the have brought to our lives. Even our dog Mack (big ol fatty part black lab part Shepherd) loves them. They have owned the joint!!!! Life is worthless without the love of an animal....any animal.❤️🐈🐈🐕 God Bless!
my neighbour catio are really amazing.. They have make 3 story tall catio and most of their ginger cats love to hangout there during evening. He make it himself after he retired
Excellent video! Thank you good sir! Our cats Penny, Gloria, and Roxanne miss their catio in the old house and our new house needs one. You've given me many ideas!
It's great that people show some catios that are no that expensive to put up, so others can do this as well! There are places hat sell lumber and wire second-hand, so not as expensive, yet very usable, and doable. {hey Jackson, where is that so-cool face-hair trim that you used to {usually} wore, that was so rad, man! Like making you one cool looking cat!! Hey, that window-box for cats could be used on a rental, since it can also be used for plants for the next tenant. Did you know that you can use a bird aviary with an avian door to house window connection, for a catio! So glad that you still keep on keeping on, with help to cat owners everywhere!! Bless you and your family, including your animal family with safety, and good health! Keep these videos coming, for we are watching you. !
Ok my work in progress catio photo taken through a dirty window was embarrassing! lol. My point was it can be done with leftover pieces and garage sale items. It gets sun on the ground. I have 3 cats, Charlie, Carly and Cherish.. they love it! Plan to paint it and upgrade a bit next month. The other catios are inspiring!
I didn’t even notice! Great job reusing and recycling and your cats will surely not mind a dusty window when they get to go out, that’s all that matters. Thanks for sharing!
@@anggieb.2936 that dirty window is pretty much their doing! Lol do you cats sneeze or wipe their wet noses on windows and mirrors? Goofy but they do. Thank you for the reply. They have 24/7 access through a tiny doggie door
@@LarylCH omg, I probably should look at the window mine uses. I never noticed before 😬 but I’ll be looking now! I’m away from home but I just noticed the dirty window sill that needs a major touch up now.
I built a small catio out of pet cages off my patio window with a little sliding door to open/close between my fur kiddos using it. It's installed with basket perches and play areas. Just for them. It is covered with a sunning umbrella to keep them cooler in shade for afternoon sun. They love it and look forward to going outside every day!😻😸 they have a bird feeder close to it for cat TV time! It doesn't have to be huge for the kitties to love just the same. Mine love spending time in theirs!
Huge props for the accidental audio description of all those catios. I am totally blind and would have been totally clueless without your few words about each. if you do anything with viewer photos / videos in the future (I know this was published three years ago), please escribe the scenes rather than (or as well as) saying how wonderful they are. Hopefully you'll read this. If not I hope it helps other youtube people out there / makes you think about screen-free people. If the blind stuff puts you off, do it for all the people out there who like to listen to their content on headphones while they get stuff done.
I HAD to do something to keep my newly adopted door dasher, Alasdair safe! I am not in a position to screen my back porch just yet (but hope to, some day). In the mean time, I purchased a prefab wooden catio and a steel great dane crate for my three cats to use, daily. Alasdair loves it! As long as he gets some catio time each day, he leaves the house doors alone! Not a bad compromise at all!
We converted our 20 x 4ft porch into a screened in catio for our 3 cats. Come rain or shine, they love being out there. They have access to the house via a window cat flap and come and go as they please.
Good timing for this! We are planning on building a home next year and are in designing stages. One of the spaces we are designing is a catio (or maybe two 😃!). I'm saving this video in my house planning folder!
Air locks are sooo important when you have rescue/foster kittens... Right now I find it really hard to get in and out in the morning and evening when it's kitten zoomy time!
Hello Jackson Galaxy. I have been watching your TV show, "My Cat From Hell", everyday in my home country, Finland 🇫🇮. That show is so awesome, i really want to watch it again. I also have been reading your book, "Catifaction: Designing a Happy and Stylish Home for Your Cat (And You)" - it's actually a good book. I'm also a cat fan. Also i admit, that many of my friends, also some of the women, call me with lots of nicknames, such as "Tomcat", "Cool Cat", "Street Cat", and "Alley Cat". You are an awesome cat person. In fact, you are the greatest hero in the feline history. Thank you, and keep up the good work. Miaow. ✌️😺👍
We live in an apartment with a balcony. First catio was about the size of a linen closet, extending from the window down to the floor. A year or two ago we made a new one enclosing the whole balcony, so we can go there with the cat. It has a cat-safe food garden, he loves rolling around and lying on the warm or cool concrete, lying in and eating from his grass box, bird and people watching, etc. In nice weather, we keep the door open with just a screen for him to come and go as he pleases, and when it gets cooler, we usually still keep the window open, but he'll pester us to let him out through the door instead, mostly just using the window to come back in. He also likes to pounce and dig in the snow and even make snow angels :D We're looking at making some changes soon so he'll have easier access to the third shelf and hammock, since he won't make the jump, and also get some wind shelter so he can get more use.
Built my CutiePie's catio out of 2ft x 6ft metal grid wall panels for the sides & 2ft x 4ft panels for the roof (overall footprint is 4ft wide x 8ft long) that are assembled with grid wall screw fasteners, and one panel is attached with specific fasteners that act as hinges for a door. Grid wall brackets hold 12" wide planks of wood - screwed onto the brackets in lengths from 12" - 48", the steps & ledges can be easily reconfigured. CutiePie likes to call the catio the "Shark Tank" because she's the tiger shark kitty :)
I would love to see Jackson cat-proofing catios whether it's giving critique on what more they could do or checking the safety it would be great to see Jackson in the spaces being able to see how cat-proof they really are
Thanks for all the great ideas. We are getting our large balcony secured well next spring. Hope to make it visually appealing to us as well, as our toddler and we also have to use it. Many good ideas here! :)
Dear Jackson, You are adorable! My hubby and I have been watching you for over 6 years now. We have 2 much loved rescue cats ( Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle; funnily enough they are exactly like their namesakes). I just wanted to point you in the direction of PG Wodehouse who wrote the most hilarious books. I feel sure you’d enjoy reading the ‘Blandings castle series’ ( full of an irresistible collection of eccentric peers, formidable aunts, the bright young things of the 20’s in the setting of Blandings castle, Britain’s most beloved fictional country home). Much love to you from England.
I set up a security camera for my catio. It records encounters with other animals. My cat loves deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, even mice, but watch out if you're a raccoon or stray cat approaching the catio. My cat will not allow you anywhere near his territory. Lol! I even purchased a patio heater so he and I can sit outside on these late cold autumn nights. Very peaceful, relaxing, and no mosquitos!
@@thepunisher9698 My cat's catio is 16 ft wide by 20 ft long, completely enclosed wire roof. The heavy gauge wire fence has a cement base with 12 inch garden staples to keep animals from digging under it. My cat has several lookout towers, protected from rain, ladders, bridges, looks like something you'd see in a zoo. My cat is not declawed either. My cat has 24/7 access to his catio. I'm not the least bit worried. I wish I could show you a picture. Everyone who's seen it is amazed at my labor of love. One more thing. My cat pees in his litterbox in the house but he poops and only poops outside in the wood chips. If I prevented him from going in his catio, I'd be preventing him from pooping. (Another blessing of a catio. No stinky poop smell in the house).
Great video, so many of these were brilliant. I've built a lot of catios for myself or friends/neighbors and there's one thing I often see others neglect. It's not just about keeping the cat in, it's about keeping the outside, out. The catios I've built need to withstand a person falling on it ( I've seen landscapers and fumigation people almost crush one ) as well as keep wild animals out. If you can't keep the coyotes and racoons out, then you've only succeeded in trapping your cat. Very grateful that Jackson talked about keeping the wild out. Never use weak pine, hardwoods only, also water/weatherproofed, but use steel when possible, etc. My cat's catio has "hunting blinds" where the wire mesh wall has fake plants above and below, giving a cat their natural ability to stalk into "low grass" and hide under leafy canopies. They can't touch anything through the mesh, but they do accomplish the hunting instinct of sneaking up on a bird and surprising them. Essential to get that hunting urge out of them, and the birds get a non-lethal lesson in how close they can be to a cat before they have to fly.
I had my contractor use wire cloth instead of fiberglass or metal mesh screens. Two by fours are recommended for this type of barrier. It’s galvanized so no rust, and the openings are around 1/4. Insect control isn’t so good, but it’s secure, no little paws reaching in or out, and maintenance free.
The meaning of catio is either a permanent or a temporary structure intended to confine a cat or multiple cats to a designated space for the cat to safely experience the outside. The keys of catio are: safety, usefulness, human utility, feasibility, good cat TV, aesthetics, scalability, and affordability. I am glad that there are many good examples of catio created by their owners. Also, I feel that I can easily practice those examples if I become an owner:)
my elderly cat only needs the lower half of my balcony screened in. i supervise her to make sure she doesnt try to go over but mostly she eats her cat grass, watches the courtyard, and naps on the chair. it cost a few bucks in 3/4" sparrow netting (not the extruded bird net) and some zip ties.
Jackson, I've been following you since the 1st season of My Cat From Hell. Love all your vids, but I had to tell you: you look great in a shirt, tie & jacket! Keep up the great cat work! Love from NH
Picking up my new little boy on Tuesday! Hes so beautiful! (Profile pic) Just lost my 5 yr old ginger domestic Luna to cancer. It was so devastating. Hopefully, this little munchkin will ease the pain. I see a catio in his future!😻😻
My daughter has just that thing !! A sun room plus a screened in spot with door for going in and out ! With a top ( we have neighborhood dogs and at the time they were young enough that the hawk could pick them up for a dinner -to -go !!
I live in an apartment and there's no way to put in a catio. My girls Ella and Ruby have access to every window sill. There's a tree outside the bedroom window that birds love so, my girls enjoy that. I also put cat shelves next to that window and they love to be on the high shelf. My boyfriend and I are hoping to get a place together and get married in the next year or two and maybe then we will be able to build a nice catio for the girls. I really enjoyed this video. Thanks!
I would like to know about the catio in New England winter. I plan on having a removable or movable/foldable catio for my cats next spring. I also would like you to interview Margaret Chow about her catio.
8:06 I'm about to build a catio (prototype to sell to others but also for my own use), and I chose deer fence. I never considered chicken wire because the gauge of it is so thin and the holes are a perfect size for a cat to jam their front leg through while trying to reach for something on the other side, and then possibly panic and try to pull their leg back out, only to have the skin bunch up and possibly land the owner with a vet bill. Same goes for their paws. If they try to climb it, or worse yet, if they're already halfway up on a perch and they fall, if they reach for the chicken wire, it'll do damage to their paws. Deer fence allows for a cat to reach through and easy pull back. Plus it's far stronger and looks much more professional than chicken wire. I'm also going to use some wood lattice as it will give them the illusion of privacy in certain spots where I install it. 8:15 That's pretty much what I have for fencing. 17:52 And there it is... chicken wire type of material. No thanks.

My sister's orange tiger cat, Jake, went outside most days. They lived in Seattle at the time. Jake ended up getting cancer on his nose and had to have a couple of surgeries. Vet told her to try a little SPF dabbed on his nose. Must have worked, because he was 20+ when he died.
I live in the woods so its dangerous for outdoor kitties here. I hear coyotes at night, people drive too fast on the back roads... I'm thankful when we bought our house it had an enclosed front porch with floor to ceiling windows. Perfect for my kitties!! Tons of birds and critters roaming around.
My little poppy that i adopted from a shelter, she loves the outdoors and i used to let her out hesitantly, one day she was attacked by a large cat outside our door, my mum and dad managed to get there before i did and after that we haven't let her outside, i take her outside for sun and grass on a harness but sometimes i just cant, if we have a busy day or im in classes so ive been needing to build her a catio (faily big one) still working on it (by trying to convince my dad to help me build one) and ive got plans and what plants i can put in so theres nothing toxic in there ❤ wish me luck!!
I had a "catio" when I lived in California in a mobile home. It was a latticed driveway enclosure. However there was a 3 ft limit on fences but mine was put in BEFORE that rule was enforced. It was really something tosee.

❤️
I’m on a fourth floor balcony, we bought lattices and zip tied them onto the bars. Still figuring out how to attach netting without a ladder and a harness, but I just make sure it’s supervised until we have that in there. Our landlord didn’t seem to care thankfully.
it's nice the kitties can peek at each other through the leaves of the tree
I've never heard of a catio. The name is self-explanatory. Thank you for a really cool video!!!
We built a catio that us humans and our dog can all hang out with the cat outside, and our cat LOVES it. We will be moving in the spring and we will be looking for a place with some catio potential!
That’s fantastic. It’s funny we’ve thought if we ever move from here the only people that will buy it are families that need an oversized catio!
We built a catio for our 3 cats a month ago and they love it! It has also helped improve their relationship with each other.
FAVORITE episode yet!!! 🙀😻😺😸
Finally!!! This is what I try to do with my other half who loves our cats and who wants them to be happy and loves to catify our garden and home,it will help a lot !👍
Cats off to these people for making those beautiful spaces!!! I live in an apartment so I'm not allowed to build on my deck. I'm looking into a rolling one on wheels so that it's temporary but allows alittle outside time
Jackson's characters are the best, true talent!
for the last year of my cat, Piper, life, we had let her stay on the screened in and locked back porch. she loved it. great spots for sunning and gazing about her land.
I love Jackson fawning over the cats like he doesn't work with them professionally. Behold, the power of CAT.
"Catio". Love it. I have wanted one for decades. Until now I didn't know that the space / concept had a name. 🐈
Bach is amazing. His Brandbenburg concertos are some of the best in baroque ever
You are sooooo funny. You do this with a straight face & calm eyes. LOL. LOL.
I moved in 2017. The best part of this house is the screened in porch. I have a pampasian chair for reading and Grace has a bench and old table out there to climb on She loves it. I have considered calling it a catio.
I’m so happy. We’re getting ready to build a new catio. Lol. We have aviaries right now, and we want something easier to access. 🥰
What I discovered, even though the wire gauge is pretty thick, it discourages him from climbing up the fence.
Jackson you're awesome! Always great information & you're hilarious🤣You do high brow tongue in cheek as well as Ze Frank, high praise indeed!
Life is worthless without the love of an animal....any animal.❤️🐈🐈🐕
God Bless!
So much awesomeness!!!!!
my neighbour catio are really amazing.. They have make 3 story tall catio and most of their ginger cats love to hangout there during evening. He make it himself after he retired
Excellent video! Thank you good sir! Our cats Penny, Gloria, and Roxanne miss their catio in the old house and our new house needs one. You've given me many ideas!
I love cat daddy dictionary!!! 💕
!
Hey Jackson! Love the "Tour of Catios"! Can it be a regular feature?
well…if you guys keep sending them, i’ll keep touring. bring it!
@@JacksonGalaxy would also be really cool to do tours of catified spaces! I need more inspiration for my apartment and two cats. 😊
Yes please lets!
1. Daniela’s balcony catio is so adorable!
2. Aldi’s deer loving kitty is an absolute unit.
My my Jackson... sooo dignified. Lovin the jacket and that accent!!!
I Love these I am envious of Linda's whole porch done. For her and her cats 🐈 ❤💞
Miaow. ✌️😺👍
Adorable way to keep cats safe and entertained 😺
One of my pet ownership goals
Way better than Classic Masterpiece on PBS!!!.Super awesome idea to build a good catio before the rainy season begins!
If only ALL people protected their balcony like the lady in the video!👍👍👍
He also likes to pounce and dig in the snow and even make snow angels :D
We're looking at making some changes soon so he'll have easier access to the third shelf and hammock, since he won't make the jump, and also get some wind shelter so he can get more use.
I would love to see Jackson cat-proofing catios
whether it's giving critique on what more they could do or checking the safety it would be great to see Jackson in the spaces being able to see how cat-proof they really are
I absolutely love this channel. So much!!
Thanks for all the great ideas. We are getting our large balcony secured well next spring. Hope to make it visually appealing to us as well, as our toddler and we also have to use it. Many good ideas here! :)
What a great video! My catio is built but not "furnished" with its ramps and stuff. This has given me absolutely tons of ideas!
Purrrrrrfect setting for the felines to have their morning tea & crunpets😄
I can not wait to make a catio for my (almost) adopted 3 kitties. I need to design it. I will be building it next spring.
@@ps429 i do hope when your cats in it you're still at home, wild animals could still hurt it, depending on how yours is enclosed of course
Thanks for sharing several ideas people did for the cats.
Hilarious and useful!!!!Thank you all cat people!
LOVE this catio video. Please keep them coming.
Getting a lot of great ideas for my own furbabies' (Sammie and Ari) catio.
Totally awesome! I hope there are more catio showcases from you in the future. Kudos to everyone who made their catios!
my elderly cat only needs the lower half of my balcony screened in. i supervise her to make sure she doesnt try to go over but mostly she eats her cat grass, watches the courtyard, and naps on the chair. it cost a few bucks in 3/4" sparrow netting (not the extruded bird net) and some zip ties.
I rarely see catios that incorporate actual grass, not fake. My cats love to lay in the grass in their catio.
These catios are almost as fabulous as that jacket!! 😻😻😻😻
Jackson, I've been following you since the 1st season of My Cat From Hell. Love all your vids, but I had to tell you: you look great in a shirt, tie & jacket! Keep up the great cat work! Love from NH
Picking up my new little boy on Tuesday! Hes so beautiful! (Profile pic)
Just lost my 5 yr old ginger domestic Luna to cancer.
I really like Bob's & David's catios! They are simplistic, functional and I might be able to do this!
Milion like for this mr. For mr. Big heart. Thank you sou much. Cats is my life❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
No thanks.
Wow, imagine a catio & home office combined, shucks gotta go to work ....
I love the shared space catio ideas. Humans need a back porch, too!
that is a fantastic suit, and a fantastic accent. thank you for the video!
I appreciate your sculpted & groom beard/mustache! Cool dress blue jacket & accent.
I run FL pedigreed Maine Coon Cattery, COONPALS. I quote you so often & share all your tips & advice with my dedicated families for the benefits for our COONPALS! Love you, Cat Daddy.
Very informative video with many nice creative designs. Definitely would like to see more catios when possible. This helps get the creative forces activated.
FANTASTIC accent. Well done Jackson. Just like mine (I'm a Brit). I have 5 cats. Love you😚😻
Oi Jackson, você têm ideias inovadoras e incrível...sempre pensando no bem estar de nossos bebês 🐈🐾
💜🐱💯👏👏👏
One of my neighbors in Brooklyn had an amazing rooftop Catio that my cats clearly coveted! They sat in the window and watched the neighbors cats out on the roof.
