I think you are way off on this interaction. This is not an issue of vocal tonality; it’s a dementia patient’s typical action. I have seen this and other actions from Joe, that mimic what is see in my own mother who was diagnosed with dementia 3 yrs ago. His “wait,wait,wait”, the “sush, sush, sush”, the AR14 comment, not remembering what he told Anderson Cooper about taking our guns, and his disoriented look when asked a question when he was leaving the facility (I could go in and on) are symptoms of dementia, including his violent outburst that you describe as a strong tonality. It’s really sad. I would never put my mother through what his campaign (and his wife!) are putting him through. It’s abuse.
Teri George you are so right. 😔his wife is probably in denial. I was a caretaker for a dementia patient and mainly for his wife. It was really hard for her to grasp, he was always the man in charge and she let him run the roost for too long because of their inherent dynamic. This is so sad. I hope the Dem debate helps him call it quits, relax and enjoy his life. I don’t want to see him debate Trump.

Anyone who goes to the gun range often definitely needs more than 100 rounds. My family shoots almost weekly. We use thousands of rounds combined every few months.
You CAN own a "machine gun". Fully Auto firing. It just takes a special permit. A few of my friends have them.
You are correct. And ANYONE can own an AR-14.....if you can find one, that is.
The point of the 2nd amendment is that we dont need to ask for permission from the government to own any type of "arms". It is the final check to keep the government in line.

In JAPAN, if a person wants to own a gun, they must attend an all-day class, pass a written test, and achieve at least 95% accuracy during a shooting-range test. Then they have to pass a mental-health evaluation, which takes place at a hospital, and pass a background check, criminal record check, and interviews with their friends and family. Then they can buy a hunting rifle - no handguns.

@@travv88 you're right. 15,000 US gun deaths are homicides vs. less than 10 in Japan. Suicides are irrelevant (personal choice) guns don't make it any easier if there is easy access to rope, bridges, windows, pills, etc.
I think there's a valid reason to own a handgun, (backup sidearm for hunting) but obviously needs more regulations to restrict sales to people able to prove themselves to be exceptionally sane and responsible.

In some states it is legal to own a fully automatic gun. It’s difficult to get the permit but you can. You can also own a canon.

This is dementia on full view. One of the side effects is irritability. My grandpa had cognitive decline and was told either dementia or beginning Alzheimer's and boy did his behavior change. He became very easily irritated and then downright aggressive. I think the stress Joe has taken on for this campaign has exacerbated his cognitive decline. This is sad and scary. This isn't just gafs. This is decline and I don't want a president who has cognitive feline, dementia or Alzheimer's. His VP pick is going to be critical.

Biden is knitting his forehead which means he tries too look more intimidating than he actually is, in fact he tries to use his voice's volume to dominate but the forehead shows he is weak and he would subdue to someone who is really stronger. In such a word fight when you see your opponent is knitting his forehead what you should do is to shut your eyebrows as close to each other as possible, lower your chin and look from under the brows and bare your teeth when articulating some words. This is a true intimidating and showing you're ready to fight. I used this technic to back off guys taller and heavier than me once I read their faces and saw they are only big and loud mouths.

Most don't know that Creepy Joe used to be called "Bye Bye Biden" when he ran for the presidency back in the 80's. Joe had a severe stuttering problem growing up and his boy had the same issue. It seems clear to me that Biden was not in control here. What did he stand to gain by doing this? Declaring his values in a campaign speech is one thing, getting into a yelling match with some random guy about "do you need 100 rounds" is another. This is how I get when I lose grip, he is taking actions that do not corroborate with his supposed higher goals. We need more than just another confrontational bobble head, we need someone focused on getting shit done. Surprising how you commend him wasting his and the random guy's time, it shows that you lose sight of the bigger picture. Sanders is far from dropping out, if you were aware of the news, he won California and will likely tie things back up with Biden. He is not giving up, he is pushing harder and is very vocal about this. Unsubstantiated claims are unbecoming, thinking before speaking is in everyone's best interest

For the most part, biden sticks to the debate level of a six year old who's heard a few swear words. And as charisma goes, using profanity and personal attacks are the truest signal that you've lost a debate. When someone switches to that, it shows they've been defeated on thier talking points, and are desperately scrambling for an advantage. Swearing doesn't usually recover thier weak position, and generally signals they have a weak mind. Like a child, who's all emotion, but lacking a mental advantage.
