Had my dongles for a while trying other videos and other programs, but couldn't get P25 traffic. Watched your video and you explained it so well, that I can finally listen. Thank you!!
There is a trunked digital radio system in my area that is not listed in radio reference. Can you please post a video tutorial showing how I can find and decode it?
Great video! I seem to have everything working via premium account with RR, however i have no audio, even with LSM enabled. Any ideas what i am doing wrong?
@2:34 What are the frequencies underneath the two control channels? I am guessing those are operating channels that the control channels handle traffic on? I do not need to monitor such channels in my scanning setup? Thank you for these videos, they are of great help.
Thanks for the tutorials! Quick question does this record two or more talk groups at the same time. I have it up and running, haven't noticed that yet.
How does the baseband audio recording work? I hit record on a talkgroup and on one of my sdr tuners. It saves a baseband wav file and mp3s of the recorded talkgroup convos but theres an option to setup a recording tuner and wants a previous baseband audio file to work. Whata the difference in having a recording tuner setup or just pressing record while listening. And what is baseband audio wav file and whats it used for? Tx
SDR trunk has the audio built in along with the decoder just start the system up from the playlist tab right click on the black panel with the speaker icon between the spectrum panel and the traffic panel and set your audio output to whatever you like and you should start hearing traffic make sure in the same area you right clicked to set up your audio you see green text or numbers popping up that means the program is receiving traffic and you should get audio if you don’t see anything either the system isn’t running or no one is talking
Thanks for making these videos! 👍 Is there any way to lock onto an alias temporarily. For instance I'd the police are pursuing someone, can you quickly block out every thing else and just follow one alias? Thanks 👍
So I have a question. When I enter all the information into the channel/talk group I want, when I press play, the tuner shows in the boxes on the lower left, a frequency that is 0.025 below what I want to listen to. Why is it doing this? I want to listen to KSP in KY.
I've got a RadioRefrence premium account but for some reason it doesn't allow me to login from sdrtrunk. Also when i do everything manual i hear nothing
I have sdrtrunk up and running. I also have unitrunker with dsd+. With unitrunker after I download from Radio Reference, it shows what I am listening to, Sheriff, fire etc. With sdrtrunk I need to enter an alias for each talkgroup I listen to? Or am I missing something? I also need to create a alias for everything I don't want to hear? I'd like sdrtrunk audio better than unitrunker, but seems more work setting it up.
You don’t have to put an alias to listen but the RR import feature will allow you to add talkgroups easily. You don’t have to create every singe TG to lock out what you don’t want to hear technically. Create an alias and add a Talkgroup range. Put the ranges you don’t want to monitor then select the lock out button
@@kidda71 Under the Alias name were you put the Talkgroup you should be able to name the RID or RID’s if that’s not working I’ll have to look around and see
Anyone on here ever figure out the no audio problem? Everything works as it should. I can see all the calls coming through but there is no sound. I am monitoring P25-1 no encryption. I have tried everything with no audio. If I put in a random frequency and hit play I can hear static so the sound works on pc. I don’t get it?
Did you figure it out? Look in your user preferences under audio and make sure you have your speakers selected. There is a test button there to make sure you are getting audio on the different options if its good u will hear a beep.

Did you ever figure it out? I'm having the exact same problem.
I have the same issue. Please help if you got it working.

Thajks, starting to understand it a bit better. Next, how do you hear the radio calls? I'm guessing you need to run DSDPlus and input from the Vcable?

@@MAndNGamesV3 ahh ok so I don't need to pipe the audio into dsdplus or anything. That's cool. Thanks.
@@CarstenBauer yep SDR Trunk does it all within the program
I have everything working like it should but no matter what I do I get no audio. All the calls are coming in perfectly but no audio? Anyone else?
thank you sooooo much i needed to know how to do this

I am having this problem. I can hear the beep with the audio test fine. Receiving signals, just cant hear anything
@ My problem ended up being that I only had one SDR. After I started using 2 SDR’s my problem was solved.
Is it possible to do an nxdn system
Unfortunately the program at this time does not support NXDN
I have a SDR Play RSP DX and a Adalm Pluto SDR!

Well, your audio is better on this one but I can't keep up with you. You're all over the place and barely explain anything.
