Cooper Dejean was a good choice, but I'd say Zack Baun has been our most surprising player. Dude was an unknown in New Orleans but this year he might genuinely be an all-pro. Vic Fangio found a diamond in a pile of Gumbo 😂😂
I’m a Seahawks fan but bro I love the two white DB duo Cooper dejean is a player I’ll follow fs, always liked hurts too just think he’s gotta good attitude and a great player ofc
As much as I love Cooper as an eagles fan, Zack Baun has been an absolute steal of a signing. For me, it's really hard to decide who's the most pleasantly surprise player on the eagles roaster. I mean yes Quinton is expected to do well as he's a first round and the first db taken in the draft, but to be an absolute lock down against every opponent best receiver is just mind blowing. Obviously Cooper as well. Nakobe Dean, Cam Jurgens, Mekthi Becton and don't forget the season Saquon is having. This team is unbelievable
Commanders is definitely Daniels, Luvu, or Fowler. Nobody expected Daniels to put up historic numbers and lead a team that was projected 6 wins to 8 wins by week 13. Hes already at - odds for OROTY and is doing it with a lingering rib injury that affected him weeks 7-12 and is still putting up good numbers. Wagner is a vet that didn’t decline, that’s not surprising that just goes against the common theme of people trying to predict fall offs the second a player reaches age 30
As an Eagles die hard Zack Baun is way more surprising than Dejean while I love em both nobody could’ve told me Baun would look like an all pro this yr
I think DeVaughn Vele is by far the broncos most surprising player. He’s a seventh round pick and he has the second most receiving yards on the team even though he’s missed 4 games. He has 100 yards more than the next guy, crazy impressive for someone who barely got drafted.
Jets could also be Will Macdonald or Jamien Sherwood. Both came in expecting to be backups but have been towards the top of the league at their positions
The thing I have with this comment is that they drafted verse high, so I think they expected him to at least he near this production. Nobody expected Williams to be decent or match his production from last hear
Perfect choice for the bears, easily a overlook signing at the time but is killing it Perfect choice for the bills as well, I was really questioning there’s safety this year but they have been so good
Most chargers fans knew that Mcconkey was gonna be that guy. Honestly the most surprising player has been Cam Hart. He looks like a top 15 corner and he was a 5th rounder.
@@johnnyhaha2938Well I think we all knew he could be good and he’s shown to be great but nearly nobody has heard of Ventrell Miller but he’s been the heart of the Jags defense so I think that’s the greater surprise
Everyone and their grandmother expected BTJ to supercede the entire Jaguars' WR room to become WR1. What nobody saw coming though, even moreso than Tank Bigsby at RB, was the emergence of Ventrell Miller in the absence of Foye Oluokun during the few weeks he was out on IR. Earned himself a most likely permanent starting role alongside Oluokun.
I think the surprise for the bengals this year has been trey Hendrickson. He leads the league in sacks and tee Higgins is someone that people expected to be good
As a bengals fan tee has been great but not really surprising, this is about on par with his 2021 season. I would say it has been amarius mims, loved him in college and knew he would be good but thought it would take a while for him to develop, holding Myles Garett and Micah parsons just to name a few to 0 sacks is no small feet for a rookie tackle.
I think for the Niners everyone knew Jennings was a great player especially after the Super Bowl. Jordan Mason tho came out of no where tho & was elite. Love all your videos tho Matt I am definitely subscribing to this channel!
I think for the Ravens it’s Ar’Darius Washington. Marcus Williams has been the worst safety in the league this season and Washington, ESPECIALLY recently, has made this defense so much better. He and Hamilton are gonna be an electric safety duo for a long time.
as a georgia fan and broncos fan i wanted us to draft brock so bad and i was extremely disappointed when we got bo. and now i don’t know if i was correct or incorrect about that😂
Love the byard choice. Definitely brisker would’ve been the choice if he didn’t get a concussion and miss most of the year It’s frustrating how guys like Edmunds, sweat, dj and kmet are playing so average while getting so much money
Most chargers fans new that Mcconkey was gonna be that guy. Honestly the most surprising player has been Cam Hart. He looks like a top 15 corner and he was a 5th rounder.
Nik Bonitto is more suprising for the broncos in my opinion. Literally no one except hardcore broncos fans knew who he was before the season, but now he is one of the frontrunners for DPOY.
Good video. I would've went with Jaylon Jones for the Colts instead of Josh Downs, but I'm never gonna be upset with love for Josh Downs... knew he was a stud based off the film last year.
The Rams would be Beaux Limmer, the starting 6th round center that is currently making the Rams almost regret signing a 13 mill. O-lineman. You wouldnt think a 6th round rookie would take over and not lose his spot except for 1 game where they quickly changed back.
@SpVde. yes they have been but it's not a surprise. Many people thought Verse would win defensive rookie of the year. Fiske was thought to be an over pay by some people but he still a second round pick. No surprise he is doing good.
Before even watch the video I'll say Dante Jackson for the Steelers. I definitely held the belief was was going to be a massive target in that Steelers secondary. To my surprise he hasn't been horrible and leads the team in INTs.
I think a cool video idea would be the most over and underachieving players for each team. Guys that are playing above their level that will be eventually overpaid and vice versa
For the Chargers, as a fan, my personal pick would have to be Poona Ford. It's not something you're really able to see on the stat sheet, but watching games with the eye test, he's having an absolute career resurgence, and his impact on our defense can not be overstated. Absolute gem in free agency, maybe even our best FA addition. Absolutely no discredit to Ladd, btw. I'm probably gonna get his jersey. He's an absolute dawg, and our offense is running through him as a rookie. But I expected him to be excellent. I expected NOTHING from Poona. I thought he'd be above average at best.
I’d say for the raiders you can also make a case for jakorian Bennett he had a horrible rookie season and he turned around and became a lock down corner
I would argue that the Broncos most surprising player could also be Riley Moss or Luke Wattenberg. While Bo Nix is the obvious choice, if you watched his Oregon tape and not just listen to the media you knew he would be good with Sean Payton.
Williams led the league in yards per game last season and finished second in rushing yards on the year after missing time. He made second team all pro. I dont think him continuing to perform at a simular level is suprising.
Great video. I understand the choice of Russ but on the Steelers for me I think it’s Donte Jackson or Calvin Austin. Also what’s the board in the background that changes with all the scores on it called. I’ve wanted to buy one for a while but can remember what it’s called
The ONLY Bengals player that could be considered a "surprise" this year is Chase Brown... Amarius Mims has shown flashes but is still too raw to be a "surprise." We all knew Burrow, Chase and Hendrickson would be great, but almost everybody else has been a huge disappointment.
Also boye and Derrick hall made a big impact for sure this year as well as cobe Bryant and Williams solid solid team we just need time our fans NEED FAITH especially in GEEZEE, my girls cousin is a Seahawks fan (im in Indiana so it’s p rare) but he don’t believe in Geno and it’s annoying lol
Josh Downs wasnt surprising at all. wr all knew he was great. The most surprising by a landslide is Jaylon Jones. He has been absolutely shutdown and he was expected to be awful. almost no one saw it coming especially us fans
Can you talk about how the lions havent beaten anyone to note oyher then a injured packers team which by the way only one by one touchdown , like i like the lions right but they have won against no body's all year 🤔
Packers twice they only lost to 2 other team’s and the Vikings only lost to one other team. We also beat the Texans and Seahawks who are decent. We are the most injured team in the nfl right now. We’re missing 15 players and half of them are defensive starters. What a dumb take 🤡……. Not are fault who we play even tho we supposedly had one of the hardest schedules in the nfl at the beginning of the season. Go talk shit about some other team

Completely agree. Go birds 🦅
Was 100% gonna day this! Baun has been a monster I just hope they pay him
I’m a Seahawks fan but bro I love the two white DB duo Cooper dejean is a player I’ll follow fs, always liked hurts too just think he’s gotta good attitude and a great player ofc
N. Dean is a surprised player this year too
Or quinyon Mitchell locking down everyone’s favourite receivers 🤷🏿 GO BIRDS!🦅🦅
As much as I love Cooper as an eagles fan, Zack Baun has been an absolute steal of a signing. For me, it's really hard to decide who's the most pleasantly surprise player on the eagles roaster. Honorable mention for Zack Baun. He is elite
I like ur little nfl game results thing behind you.
Kyren wasnt a rookie last year and hes not our most surprising player. Definitely jared verse
Yea my bad on that!
Yes👍 fiske is pretty good

@@RobertAgnew-gu6to Exactly.
loving the nfl content as well as the nba content, keep up the good work 💯
thank you!
For the Seahawks it’s definitely jsn dude went from wr3 to wr1 and he’s the best slot wr in the nfl this year but Charles cross is also a good pick.
Perfect choice for the bears, easily a overlook signing at the time but is killing it
Perfect choice for the bills as well, I was really questioning there’s safety this year but they have been so good

You know ball. Not many people really know how good Garrett Williams has been
For the Jaguars I think Ventrell Miller has been the biggest surprise he’s been one of the best defenders on the team and has really stepped up
Bro knows ball
Yeah, I think everyone expected btj to pretty good, ventrell miller came out of nowhere and starting playing great
Miller has been good but I feel like not many people expected btj to be possibly the best wr in this draft
@@johnnyhaha2938Well I think we all knew he could be good and he’s shown to be great but nearly nobody has heard of Ventrell Miller but he’s been the heart of the Jags defense so I think that’s the greater surprise

9:50 against the bangles against the ravans against the commanders! WHAT its browns great vid your under rated
I think for the Niners everyone knew Jennings was a great player especially after the Super Bowl. Jordan Mason tho came out of no where tho & was elite. Love all your videos tho Matt I am definitely subscribing to this channel!
Gotta say either Jobe or Bryant for the seahawks
not putting jayden daniels for commanders is crazy, also not putting saquon for eagles is crazy, w vid btw.
I agree with Daniel's but it's not too surprising for saquan to be good in an offense like the eagles
Jaden daniels was expected to be great, he was the number two pick. Wagner had a down year last year and is what, like 36? I think it’s a fair pick
I think for the Ravens it’s Ar’Darius Washington. Marcus Williams has been the worst safety in the league this season and Washington, ESPECIALLY recently, has made this defense so much better. He and Hamilton are gonna be an electric safety duo for a long time.
dominic puni for the 49ers has been a beast on that oline! i think he’s allowed only 1 sack and 4 penalties as a rookie so far and has been ballin!
Carl granderson has been great the past couple of years i feel bryan breese has been playing better than expectations
as a georgia fan and broncos fan i wanted us to draft brock so bad and i was extremely disappointed when we got bo. and now i don’t know if i was correct or incorrect about that😂
SROS GOT football CHANNEL NOW. **Ahem* I mean Matthew Geist. 🎉🎉🎉
Love the byard choice. Definitely brisker would’ve been the choice if he didn’t get a concussion and miss most of the year
It’s frustrating how guys like Edmunds, sweat, dj and kmet are playing so average while getting so much money
I’d have to go with Westbrook-Ikhine for the titans, dude is a top 5 td scorer out of literally nowhere
For the Browns, there is also Jerry Jeudy. He's having a career year and had over 200 yards in the last game.
I can already tell for the Saints it’s Taysom Hill. He plays tight end, punt, returner QB man plays any position on the field crazy.
For my Steelers I’m really loving
Herbig and Austin!
I love both but I'd say Payton Wilson. he's just everywhere, all the time
@ so many surprises
Payton Russ herbig Austin
Zach
Deshon
Donte
Beanie Bishop

@ thanks Godbless Jesus loves you man
Mixon to me is not a surprise. He was a top 10 rb last year and somehow everyone thought he lost a step.
I would argue Alontae Taylor for the saints, good vid.
Beanie Bishop has been the most surprising player for the Steelers
13:12 590 carries in 8 games sounding like something you’d see on college football 25 😂
I’d say for the raiders you can also make a case for jakorian Bennett he had a horrible rookie season and he turned around and became a lock down corner
As a Rams fan, you should’ve mentioned Omar Speights.
Another Eagles one could’ve been Mekhi Becton! Hes played amazingly this year after getting dumped off and seen as a bust
MY FAVORITE NBA DRAFT CONTENT CREATOR NOW HAS A CHANNEL FOR MY FAVORITE SPORT??!?!?!!?
I would argue that the Broncos most surprising player could also be Riley Moss or Luke Wattenberg. While Bo Nix is the obvious choice, if you watched his Oregon tape and not just listen to the media you knew he would be good with Sean Payton.
Nick bonito is the most surprising bronco we been knew Bo nix was him
21:15 lwk surprised that the colts wasn’t Alec pierce

Barkley is bro
@ Barkley ain’t a surprise lmao. We all know he was going to dominate behind the eagles Oline
Hey nice vid but I was wondering what the mini scoreboard thing in the background is that has all of the scores of the nfl games on it.
Williams led the league in yards per game last season and finished second in rushing yards on the year after missing time. He made second team all pro. I dont think him continuing to perform at a simular level is suprising.
Seahawks is def coby bryant
For the Jets, it should have been Will McDonald!!!! Him, Sherwood, and Simpson are the only players doing something good for the Jets 😭

Bo Nix is an all or nothing kind of QB. He likes to pass into coverage but it seems to be working. He passes accurately but with poor judgment.
Az an Eagles fan, Cooper Dejean? Over Zack Baun?
Zach Baun is an all pro this season I would say him over coop
Jennings just went off yesterday for 2 tubs
Luvu is the most surprising Washington player
Darnell Mooney was a good pick but I’d say ray ray Mcloud
Could you imagine if my broncos and my boy bo nix gets a real receiver or running back???
What’s that scoreboard behind you it looks really cool
