Dumfries is a lovely town as is the rest of the county. That part of Scotland is well worth exploring and also neighbouring Galloway. We've had a few holidays there and the sights connected with Burns are very interesting and must do's. Burns life is well worth reading about, you realise why he's still respected all over the world. A good video.
Waltz of the flowers what a awesome background choice and so appropriate!!.. Dumfries reminds me( briefly) of a place in Savana Ga.. I love those floors!!.. that baby cradle wow! The window was very interesting!.. Wow .. very young.. Rest In Peace!!!! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful and informative tour!!!! As usual another great adventure!!
Thanks you so much Gregory for your very kind words for watching and you amazing comment :) I sure had a great time here and the history of this place is out of this world good again thanks and hope you are having a great Monday :)

A most enjoyable and informative video. Many years ago I had a girlfriend whose parents lived near Ayr and we would drive from London several times a year to visit. Remember Dumfries well. Thank you very much. Good show!
Warm greetings! Nigel
It sure is a small world Nigel a girlfriend near Ayr wow :) That is one hell of a drive from London to Ayr . I am glad you liked the video and that it brought back fond memories of the place we had such a great time here and we love stuff with Robbie Burns thanks for watching :) cheers Rose

Dropping in to grab more of your time! Watching and Supporting!
Awesome!!
I lived in Dumfries 1960-1966 I'm surprised you featured Burns so much and the town so little. Dumfries used to be a thriving market and tourist town (with light industry on the outskirts) but the last time I visited many of the shops were either closed or turned into charity shops. The sandstone buildings are attractive but the town was only a shadow of what it used to be.
Great video, we live walking and exploring. I noticed no crowds. Makes it even better!
Thank you so much and yes we had a great time the crowds come in the summer in August and we like to beat them ha ha cheers rose
Don't try a fish and chip shop here. Other than that, a great place.
Nice work 👍🏻 love it
The hole in the wall pub
Good things to do over there!

CcubicC awesome
CcubicC same 😂
Dumfries is beautiful but what ever you do never talk to the police or have a camera, if the thugs police see you with one you will get arrested and put in jail. If you are lucky you might not get hurt by them tyrants, but don't let that put you off it is a historical place as long as you keep well clear of the police.
Blsss Hastings you haven't look at the news lately, the police are thugs and bullies and that is just to there own in Dumfries.
I will never put up any post that I can't backup.
Blsss Hastings look blsss I am not out to argue with you but a few months ago a gentleman was out taken photos, and the police arrested him and the gentleman was disabled put cuffs on him a shoved him in to the police van for know reason whatsoever.
Blsss Hastings ok Blisss this is the man who was assaulted and arrested by the police in Dumfries, look him up you will find him on RUclips his name that you will find him under is davy' Human Rights Above All Else B. Just look him up let me know how you got on.
Blsss Hastings hahaha love it but I don't think he is, tell me Blisss do you come from Dumfries and are you a Scot.
Putting all the burns stuff inside Dumfries is not a very nice place in general, not now anyway.
Dumfries used to be a buzzing wee town but has sadly been neglected over the past 15-20 years.
Make sunglasses
Was once a lovely thriving big, little town but now unfortunately it’s a shite hole
If you live there it’s up to you to do something about it instead of miscalling it.
No it’s not. People like you are a disgrace.
Dumfries is not good anymore
My gran and her brothers and sisters were all born in a house on Burns Street!
Thank you for the tour of Dumfries, and the information on Robert Burns...this was a great video.

Thanks for the tour. It is a very nice town. I didn`t know who Robert Burns was. I looked him up and I noticed that he is credited for the famous New Year`s Eve song called ``Auld Lang Syne``. Cool stuff! Like 37. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Hey, free is always good. lol. Looks like a nice place to live. Nice view, and he definitely made his mark with that ring. He was very young when he died. I didn't realize that.
Ha. But you don't live here...

awsome video my friend, TFS CJ showing support
Thanks for this historic tour and the information on Robert Burns and his family....Nice video :-)
Thank you for the very encouraging comment and for watching cheers Rose :)
I don't care to read about history. I'd rather see it for myself, like in this video, showing all the historical places and landmarks that so many people do not get to visit. The architecture is so beautiful, and modern man, with all its technology could not create such beautiful architecture, without everything collapsing when someone sneezes.😒✌👍
Wow that place has some awesome history , I'm getting ready to go fishing so i'm running both part 1 and 2 at the same time so I can give you full watch time .
Thank you so much for watching and support I really appreciate it cheers Rose :)

Hehe, loving the music. ;)
Hmmm, I didn't know that love was spelled "luve" once upon a time....
That 1793 house at 2:20... so interesting how they managed to fit all those small stones together.
Those are some crazy stairs at 3:40.
I've never heard of a cribbage bed. Looks very old-world indeed!
Yes, that Burns shrine is _very_ majestic! Thing must have cost a fortune!
I must confess that I don't know of this Robert Burns character, but this was a cool video nonetheless!
