The biggest problem with being a forklift operator is not that we don't want to fallow each and every safety rule available. The problem is employers assuming we can follow them all while running you on as thin a line as possible. You can be the world's most perfect driver but over time if you keep making the road you gotta take more difficult them humanly possible then the safety ends up flying out the door a bit just so you can keep your job without being hastled by the employer for not meeting your quota. Fact is most employers want as much profit as they can squeeze with as little manpower as possible because they see more manpower as money wasted.
This true. However safety should always be first priority and simple things such as using your seat belt, looking when backing, driving with your forks as low as possible and driving in reverse with a load do not take any extra time and should always be on the drivers mind and applied when ever they get onto their P.I.T. Shortcuts such as speeding, not fully stopping at stop signs, airplaning ,distracted driving, using your horn, etc, come in to play with what you are saying, however working for a company that demands safety at all times makes for good habits at future jobs. If your boss notices dangerous habits you will be called on that too.Especially when it comes to accidents or near misses.Any company worth their salt will enforce safety, for their employees and protection of their product.Any driver worth their salt should be able to be fast and be safe.

Not true. In my company we are working every day by the book and seems strange when youwork too fast. Remember that too fast mean too dangerous. Be safe guys anyway.
You are the oddball in the bunch dardonero. My boss from day one told me that he wants me to be safe but when I'm able I'm expected to go wide open and move as fast as I possibly can. There would be no way I could manage 4 lines of production just by myself if I did everything safely by the book. I would be fired within a week or two as well.
That is not true completely , in every company the safety instructions is a priority and the book is a reference to the boss before operators , your boss will never talk to you but your supervisor will, and all supervisors are working according to the book too
Fucking hell I was cringing watching him travel at speed in warehouses with blind turns and corners.... God dam..... Good luck to anyone who has to work around him.....

Agreed, same here in the UK. I saw mistakes as big as turning with raised forks and as small and improperly dismounting. The guy has some skill but I think his confidence has outgrown his capabilities. A refresher course is definitely needed. I've been driving a counterbalance for 3 years and I do make small mistakes here and there but if I was seen operating it like this video I would be fired immediatley.
what is more important safety or how much you get out the door if you cant go by the book more staff are needed or you have to find a job where you safely operate time to re think on where your priorities are I would be choosing safety first and you don't have to change much to be safe you can still do what you do now but be more aware there is things you can do to be safe about your operations
So im working as a forklift driver myself for a while. And i can say that how you are driving is really unsafe. You turn with the load high. You dont check behind you while driving backwards. No seatbelt. Not even the e brake. For your safety and others take your time and follow those rules. Your company rather has a clean record then one that says you hurt or killed someone because you failed to follow these basic rules.

Not a correct way to handle the turn, cause he made it wit raised load. But the best is @7:20 when he raise the load near his coworker without give him an alert. If i was your boss, you were unemployed immediately.
I have written here several times what I think about it and it does not tease me to write it all over again ... They all say it about the job and it does not know anything like you.
Yeah because a seatbelt will help in a fork and god forbid you don’t wear your high vis, how on earth would they see him!
Never looked behind while reversing. Speeding and not wearing a seat belt also not once does he use thensteering assist. Head and body out the cab while loading. And loading while there is a pedestrian near by. And gets off the truck and leaves it running. Just to name afew.. even getting off his truck while his load is in the air and truck running
What kind of guy are you...? Open the manual and read the whole thing... :D

crazy forklift driver!!
No regard what so ever to health and safety. In the UK this would be a video on all the things not to do on a forklift.
Yup its dangerous while turning with a load in the air but if you know what you can and can't do while its raised, no problem...you are not going to go peddle to the metal while turning, that would be stupid and there are circumstances when you need to turn while raised with a load.
He really shouldn't be driving like that period, most of the time he isn't even looking at where he is going. Someone can get seriously hurt because of his recklessness and endangerment of others of heavy heavy equipment. Would not be surprised if got into some sort of accident.
Fair call.
im always scares to shit driving a forklift in busy areas. it was fine when i was a mechanic but in a factory or busy warehouse is scary.

Yeahhh good Joob i Drive a Cat Forklift on a Recycling Company
Good Job you drive very safety
Al people here who just getted there licenses, shut up, i drive forklift too and hes a good driver. The books are different from the real work.
safety is number one thing you have to have in mind and this video should be used as WHAT NOT TO DO ON A FORKLIFT I drive a for too
Your a IDIOT too. This guy is completely unsafe
The books are the same the company's hadifferent products it means they need different handling. But reading a book or paper while driving not care where you going? Eyes on the road, now where are your forks
Good Job!
No seatbelt ?
What for?
4:29 6:54 8:58 Fuck what's behind me!
to say the least, not sounding horn when entering and exiting the building and no seat belts?
Also, where is the "3 points of contact" when entering/leaving the fork-lift. Jumping out like that could easily slip, maybe twist knee or ankle and then be out of work. All these youngsters want to be 'flash" - glad I am now retired - we used to work fast, but not reckless!
Checking his phone just after 6:54 whilst reversing too!
Few things he did wrong didn't sound his horn while going through. The building looked at the paper while driving some one could have been seriously injured or dead
:D :D You people are stupid as twit of ape. You dont gonna horn every turn and every pass throw becose you would get insane in half of shift :) Its just experience and predict most of situation he is prepare to breake every time :) When he was lookin on papers he has peripheral vission on the road. You never drove a fork lifter.
MOre more! encore!

So many lessons to be learned. How many people have you hurt or killed? Won't be long until it happens that's for sure, luck only lasts for so long. Complacency KILLS, true story. :(
I have already written it here for another video .. I will not comment on such comments
You just commented, lol. I'm just glad that you don't work with me. Take it easy mate, Forklifts can fuck people up.
Hellfirejuddy When you know your machine, it cant. This guy knows his machine. I know my machines.
Why am i watching this..😓 Im getting my license in a few! 😂
Please use your head.
Don Down Under OHS just left the chat hahah
Everything you don't do in a fork truck. Looking at his replies to comments, he actually thinks he's a good forklift operator.
You make 12 an hour lol
sure im forklift driver for 7 years and know people like you. stupid and ignorant.
I had done it ,good video 🙂
a proč tak dlouho..........:):):):)
Robbie Lawler's side job outside of the ufc.
Safety is no Accident !!
Omg no seat belts no turn signals and Omg no horn around the corners
This guy doesn't respect the safety at all, he Is not a good professional. If he was working like this in my country he would be fired for sure.
Well, I'm glad I don't work for you.
yeah, nice driving bro! :)
what language is that ?
Czech
He didn’t even sound the horn when going into the warehouse and going out like and no seat belts and not looking back before reversing? Haha
You're probably completely out of what ..? : D
Honestly, you just have to have a feel for it.
I didn't see a seat belt being used!
And what ?
Já vůbec nevím co maj všichni za problém. Často tu čtu ty angl. komentáře o tom jak nedodržuješ předpisy atd... Kdyby ses měl ta celej den poutat a odpoutávat pokaždý když vylezeš/nastoupíš tak nevim twl :D Neznám nikoho kdo to dělá. Dělám v práci kde ještěrky jezdí a znám to.
You don't need a seatbelt
@@christianpaulus7115 yeah you do. It's a 3000 dollar fine where I live.
@@christianpaulus7115 no doors on the forklift? You use a seatbelt. If it rols over and you think lets run you'll get crushed.
Should be labeled how to cause an accident/death. No seat belt, no honking, no stopping at intersections, climbing off lift to talk to another operator. Hanging off lift. Lol
Greetings from poland ! :D
Thanks :)

I agree with Statimtek and Reyes completely:1-driving fastly forward+reading stupid papers instead of concentrate on road front of him.2-reversing-no observation again,3-if he load my truck like that-re-load it,if truck driver jump on brackes just in case all packs moved forward as he left the gaps between stacks.I operated same flt 12y.-best flt in the world, but he is danger czech driver.Question of the time when he will smash anyone ;)
So you're a good jerk like the ones you named... You've been working for 12 years, but your experience is very poor compared to mine.
I think this job is so playful🤔
good video ...... on how NOT to operate a forklift truck
I would be fired within a week or two as well.
very true, I know😉
yes,its bad works too
That is not true completely , in every company the safety instructions is a priority and the book is a reference to the boss before operators , your boss will never talk to you but your supervisor will, and all supervisors are working according to the book too
Hi, I have good experience. Now I need job any one guide me.
Reading while driving, no horn ever, no seatbelt. An accident waiting to happen.
Интересно а сигналить вам что вообще не нужно ....это вообще как Вы же там передавите друг друга .....

Always get off your forklift and check your freight
this dude's an accident waiting to happen, I drive forklifts too.
Fucking hell I was cringing watching him travel at speed in warehouses with blind turns and corners.... God dam..... Good luck to anyone who has to work around him.....
this driver should be retested so many deadly mistakes everything from personal safety gear through operation of a fork lift this guy is a major hazard to many mistakes to mention thank go we have proper training in Australia but there is still a lot of cowboys out in the work place
I would like to see you in Australia: D
Agreed, same here in the UK. I saw mistakes as big as turning with raised forks and as small and improperly dismounting. The guy has some skill but I think his confidence has outgrown his capabilities. A refresher course is definitely needed. I've been driving a counterbalance for 3 years and I do make small mistakes here and there but if I was seen operating it like this video I would be fired immediatley.
if I follow the manuals so I will do half less work .. which is quite a fundamental problem .. errors are but no accidents ..
what is more important safety or how much you get out the door if you cant go by the book more staff are needed or you have to find a job where you safely operate time to re think on where your priorities are I would be choosing safety first and you don't have to change much to be safe you can still do what you do now but be more aware there is things you can do to be safe about your operations
my job is totally normal, you follow the manuals and you do shit is not my problem if you were here personally so you have another opinion
Good one👍🏽 all the schoolkids here in the comments smh😂😂
I wanna see them on the crossdock... There is no Time for safety driving xD
дсп?
So im working as a forklift driver myself for a while. And i can say that how you are driving is really unsafe. You turn with the load high. You dont check behind you while driving backwards. No seatbelt. Not even the e brake. For your safety and others take your time and follow those rules. Your company rather has a clean record then one that says you hurt or killed someone because you failed to follow these basic rules.
You must be white lol us Mexicans I'll pull 45 whole pallets a hour .. all full picks or replants
@@paulbernal4580 45 thats it? Bruh i do more than that. But im still able to follow all the safety guidelines.
