This is the 1st time I've seen judge Judy completely like a plaintiff, even giving her free advertising for her book. I haven't seen her do this kind of positive publicity I haven't seen her do this kind of positive publicity In many many years.
True...but i have not seen someone bring their book to court either lol
She is stunning & dressed beyond.
As a strong, intellecutal, woman I believe that Judy finds it entirely refreshing to see a kindred spirit in her court room of a woman who not only has her head on straight but a mind and aspirations and is out here DOING the damn thing and taking no lip. Head held high and a smile the entire proceedings, I'm sure Judge loved every second of watching her strength and poise.

Judge Judy gets so many losers in her court she knows when someone has self-respect, behaves respectfully, and is not a fool. And she treats them accordingly. And that lady is also stunning.

I LOVE how JJ gave her free advertisement, not just by showing the book and reading the title, but by expressing interest in it, TWICE. I bet The plaintiff couldn't be more pleased about the defendant's failure to come through that day, or that extra $600 she spent on the catering. I bet her sales shot up exponentially due to that little inconvenience that brought her to court 🥰
They probably brokered a deal. They would award her her winnings and not the rest of the $5k for free advertising of the book.

She's beautiful and stylish, as well as organized, well-spoken, and respectful. The fact that she was able to find an alternate venue and catering at the last minute is impressive! I feel she should've been reimbursed for those costs as well as what she paid the defendant, but (unfortunately) Judge Judy didn't consider my opinion. 😄

For being a sneaky business runner, offering ''store credit'' he got his ass dragged into court and humiliated on national TV, instead of IMMEDIATELY refunding her in full $387.29. Only offer store credit to customers when the buyer is at fault and are being unreasonable, asking for refund 2-3 months later, extorting or bad online reviews threats. NEVER offer store credit when buyer is not at fault and order is pretty new.

If the first venue was donated for free and she had to pay extra for a 2nd venue + catering due to the Defendant, she should have been awarded her money back + the extra out of pocket expenses for the 2nd venue since he caused the first venue to fall through. IMO
