Eddies death completely broke Chris Benoit. I can’t help but think that if someone would have forced counseling for them especially for those who were closest to him. Maybe Chris’s family might still be alive. Maybe the counselor would’ve spotted the warning signs before things ever escalated to that point.
Although Eddie's tragic passing caused trauma to everyone, Chris Benoit's move set (constant headbutts and the top rope diving headbutt) along with innumerable chair shots had to have been a leading cause leading to that tragedy. It isn't coincidence that WWE all but stopped using chairs for the longest time and is still reluctant to allow headshots with chairs.
@shaneduquette6104 I am so tired of ppl saying this excuse. Sure his brain was fried, but this was pre meditated, which means he didn't just "snap". He was coherent enough to plan out the murders so his brain injury being the leading cause is complete BS
@@kddddj I am not going to argue with you about this. You, apparently, don't understand the changes in mental capacity an individual goes through in regards to traumatic brain injury. While the result of his actions at that time are horrific, it can and will be argued that if his mental state was not effected as it was, he might not have acted that way that he did at that time. It is seen very often in cases where an individual who has brain damage, or other conditions like CTE, abruptly change their behavior, moods, and other things. Some are able to seek treatment, some don't. Those that don't often commit dangerous and illegal acts, including suicide. So while you can callously point out that it isn't an excuse in your eyes, the fact of the matter remains that his repeated brain injuries, possible use of performance-enhancing substances, and situational events (marriage difficulties, workplace drama, etc) were all things that added up to this horrific event. Is it something that excuses his actions? No. Is it something that could have been prevented? Probably Is it plausible to ignore these factors when forming an informed opinion on these events? Only someone that is ignorant to the struggles mental health create for patients/victims have would do so.
ill never forget watching the raw jerry had his heart attack on. they ran the rest of the episode with zero commentary. it was spooky. it really drove home how important the announcing team is to the entire production. that was the most memorable episode of raw ever for me, for all the wrong reasons. just glad jerry sprang back in 9 weeks flat like a gangster.
Wasn’t a fan of the new day when they first became a tag team, but damnit they have been some of the best comedic reliefs of nearly the last decade, dudes are genuinely hilarious
As for Orton, i can't wait when he will drop his wrestling persona and retire - not that i'm wishing him end of carreer, but i'm very curious how Randy behaves in real life and of course, the unspoken legends of locker room can be finally revailed. Also, a very big shotoout to him for providing 20+yrs of entertaiment, even when he is not my favourite, we cannot forget that he is one of the GOATs of this industry.
Randy have been really well behaved since he become a father. He used to be a menace and arrogant back in the day but since he married his second wife she set his life straight since
The people behind Jerry and j.r. Laughing and being goofy will always look like unsympathetic douche bags for doing that while Owen died at the same time wwe going on with the show didn’t help either
17:02 THE ROCK DEMANDING KANE TO DO THE PEOPLES ELBOW ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP, THEN IT CUTS TO KANE ACTUALLY DOING IT MID-MOVE HAS ME FUCKING CRYINGGGG 🤣🤣🤣
Y'kno. I still don't understand why people don't think of wrestlers as humans. It's just a job they do, but at the end of the day, they are just normal human beings.
Santino, Truth, Zane. Those 3 should have been at least intercontinental champions 2-3 times for decent streches. They can wrestle and absolutely kill on the mic, and their wit is spot on. I'd almost always get a good laugh when they spoke.
I was at 1999 over the edge in kemper arena, Kansas City (while stationed at Whiteman AFB, MO). The ENTIRE arena was *not* informed of owen harts death until we filed out and news broke through news interviews with local stations. It was an atrocious way of dealing with an in ring death. One that I'll never forget.
Eddie's passing was a shock even to the fans. I didn't like the segment between Orton and Mysterio when Orton said Eddie's in hell... not that I'm religious but too soon. And I'm sure Orton died a little inside as well.
Randy Orton recently broke character again when they all came to my hometown Berlin for Bash in Berlin. He was overwhelmed by us fans! We showed the World that Germany deserves to be part of the WWE Universe! 🇩🇪✌️🇺🇸
The night Owen died, Owen told McMahon that he didn't want to go through with the coming from the roof but McMahon gave him a choice. Do it or go home, well he did it and it cost him his life. As for Hart, McMahon told him what he had planned but he didn't want to loose in Canada. Hart forgot one major thing, the company wasn't his so he has to go by what the boss says.
The only funny thing about Romans Leukemia promo. The crowd booed the shit out of him right up until he said Leukemia, theres also a slight audible cheer when he says hes vacating. pre pandemic roman heat almost got cancer over.
WWE fans (especially former fans) always says WWE/F always was a demonic enterprise because of not taking care of Benoit's cte trauma, allowing him to still use the diving headbutt and etc, regarding Owen Hart's tragic d3ath and etc, but do things like this too. Hyp0crit3s.
The most fck'd thing about the Roman Reigns promo about his leukemia is people actually thought and to this still think to this day was fake because he had a cameo in the rocks movie. Hobbs and Shaw. To this day I still call him Joe Reigns

the beest thing about santino is that he's actually trained in mma techniques. So in an actual fight between cena and marella. marella would whoop his ass
If you're wrestling fan you will catch this check out 11 minutes and 56 seconds (11:56) everybody knows John Cena's mantra just listen to it (thuganomics) 😂😂😂
The other super interesting thing about the Montreal Screwjob was that it outed Vince as the head of the company. It wasn't public knowledge until that happened
I had to give Michael Cole mad respect for his handling of Jerry's condition.
Triple H pointing out Kofi Kingston's lack of accent cracked EVERYONE up in the ring
"aren't you supposed to be Jamaican? what happened to your accent?" lol
I think that Michael Cole delivering that news about Jerry Lawler turned a lot of people around on him. He handled that shit so professional.
R-truth saying Cena is his childhood hero. Whole time he is older than him is hilarious 😂
