African Lioness Aysa and her three cubs Teddi, Emi & Santa have taken their first steps on Yorkshire soil 🐾
After several weeks of rehabilitation, the raceway was opened and 4 cautious Lions took their first steps onto Lion Country 🦁 For the 3 cubs, Teddi, Emi and Santa, this was the first time they'd felt anything but concrete under their paws 🐾

Definitely an increase in their muscle tones/ freedom to roam- to run- to have space and be a pack.
Well done yorkshire wildlife Park. So happy for them lions I bet they are so happy now they are safe. Will be properly looked after at a excellent wildlife park.

Delightful to see them enjoying themselves on grass like they should be. Teddy is bigger than his mother, I cannot tell which one is the mother the cubs have grown so fast. Teddy looks like a very handsome lion, they are all looking very healthy lets hope they have a long and joyful life at YWP.
They look so ful of joy dicovering their new home.
