Thank you guys so much for this podcast. I struggle with some of the same things Jon and Sara do and I’ve really wanted to start a channel for some time and I keep overthinking everything. I’m 39 and keep thinking I’m to old and but Jon said something that really stuck with me is just do it you will figure it out. So thank you all I watch all 3 of your channels and I appreciate the honesty. Oh and the iPad mini rocks lol
I’ve listened since episode 1, but these past two episodes have literally had me laughing to the point of tears. While I love tech talk, it’s the energy and hilarity between Jon and Sam (and often their guests) that has me coming back week after week.
I’m still watching … Jon, you need to be happy with yourself. You created a brand that’s pretty relevant. Owning and producing the brand from behind the scenes is a very different process. You have obviously talented people around you and you can morph the show into something else. The new talent will bring their spin and new energy. If your energy is depleted after ten long years it’s time to do something else. Do what makes you happy. Bottom line, it’s you that needs to be happy.

Apple charges a developer $100 per year for app store access to upload your apps! While play store only costs $25 one time fee!! Apple charges unnecessary 30% fee on each transaction made from the apps uploaded on the app store! Also they take a whole week to review your app plus they hardly ever approve any app! And there are so many other things which people hate about the app store so I am happy we are finally getting an alternative way to share or download our apps!!

It's as if Apple made a Microwave, but only allowed certain food brands to be placed inside, and the explanation was that if they allowed anything inside then they could not ensure the quality of the meal and it could be potentially unsafe, for both the device and the consumer (but in reality, the reason is that brands had to pay a fee to Apple to be compatible). I say the government should step in and I am glad they do.
Sam btw, those cardboard water are lined with plastic and they are horrible for the environment, not to mention the trees that had to be cut to make the boxes. Get a filter 😁
I genuinely believe this is all blown out of proportions. iOS packages will stay iOS packages, it’ll just give small devs the option to not be pay 100 eur a year to put their apps on the store
