Watching these VHS openings bring back memories! There were openings where they showed adverts of Walt Disney World Florida. As a kid, I loved watching these openings as it showed the happiness Disney gave people, and I really wanted to see what that was like and now, I'm a Cast Member at Disneyland Paris - first time being at a Disney park, been working there for a year, and now I'm a big believer in the magic Disney gives!

It’s incredible to watch this trailer for The Lion King stage production just about to open almost 20 years ago when I was just 4 years old. Because now I work on the show as a stage technician.

On another note, that white text at the beginning of the tape is pretty interesting: 21 06 99 is probably the specific day in 1999 that the tape was produced/compiled. DNSN WD99 probably just refers to the fact that it’s a Disney film on a 1999 VHS tape. No idea about the rest though 🤔
I have so much nostalgia for this VHS and this opening. I will always remember nearly going to see Tarzan in pictures, but became sick, so we went home and watched George of the jungle instead
I had a big crush on Fearne Cotton back in the day. I went last year to see the Lion King stage show at the Lyceum theatre and it was amazing, everything the trailer here promised and more
The tarzan trailer is how you hype up a movie
So many memories of having this on video cassette, I have it on DVD now

Can anyone remember a McDonald’s commercial that used to be on the 90s cassettes? It was a girl looking out the window in what I remember to be Paris, it’s raining outside, she see’s Ronald McDonald, and there’s a rainbow or something? My memory is a little hazy lol

I had this VHS as a little kid and my older sister thought that Tarzan was an animated dark version of George of the Jungle because we had and saw George of the Jungle first and we didn't know that Tarzan existed before it.
