I don't want to sound rude but just want to add this after what I've seen people arguing in discord channels regarding DR on haste; I find most of these people have no clue about DR definition and in order to prove a point or sound smart, these people using this word too often for no actual reason.
The comparison to melee stats at the end perhaps isn't the best, because as a melee if you do reach the hardcap for Hit and Armor Pen, the value of those stats immediately becomes 0, irrespective of how they're weighted VS other stats.
No you are right it's not the best but yes some of those become utterly pointless to go over as the offer nothing whereas others may offer something just not as big of a benefit as swapping to another state to stack

Still dont understand regarding melee auto attack. Is there a melee hard cap on haste? How do you determine the soft melee haste cap?, can you get 100% haste for auto attacks?
It's impossible to get 100% melee haste. Bc you would instantly kill the boss. Yes there is a melee hard cap at 100% but it's never possible to get that low. There is no soft cap, just certain stats become better at certain break points

For enh sham i benefit greatly from haste in many regards, even to a point where ill get max maelstorm procs in a gcd due to haste and just pressing lb each gcd
@@orkokatanablade3010 the hard cap for every stat is 100% it's just never going to happen as you'll need some insane amount of haste that is impossible to aquire.
What about feral cats who actually use pure 20 / 34 haste sockets ? even gnomish chicken wich they use?i see this in Cinekgodx He and other go on normal atack around 0.5 or less ( so kinda 2 hits in 1 sec )
Is there an armory link? Idk why you would use battlechicken as feral beyond a prepull? Are you saying he's gemming full haste? Bc if so he won't be arp capped hit capped or expertise capped if that's the case, which is a dps loss. It goes back to what I said in the video about stat value and how they change once you get to hit cap for example. It really depends on the mechanics of the class. Even though haste infinitely scales does not mean everyone should go haste everything. Other stats increase your dps more thus why you go for them first over something like haste.
@@bitterrage2650 I would never use it as a feral (minus prepull) and risk swapping out a trinket I need since hysteria usage basically goes off trinket procs yes I know its 30sec CD for that but leave that to you lower dps or tank for that matter if hes in the grp. Id pop it prepull ofc yea but I mean even then you are hoping for good RNG that it procs and that it's actually going to last until phase 2. Ik the proc is goofy as hell as well. but i wouldent pull it out at a later phase as that would be a DPS loss.
What do you mean by cap? There are many different caps. There are some like druids who need 735 or 856 depending on talents to cap important spells. Those are only soft caps. The true hard cap would be 100% but you'll never reach that.

When I say soft haste cap for resto druid will cap rejuv nourish and lifebloom at GCD I mean they will be at cap with raid buffs.
