HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!
First time I've seen you really react to the heat.... Normally you can really handle the heat. This one must have been insane.... My favorite spices... Chilli and ginger...
I LOVE the spicy numbing Sichuan peppercorns and chillies (as well as chilli oil and Korean fermented chilli paste). Along with ginger and garlic - staples of Korean and Sichuan cooking - I'm sure these were amazing foods.
Man I'm so happy for this guy and his fiance, the passion for food and travel it's incredible the guys honestly one of my favorite RUclips vloggers. Seeing all these different food and recipes really has opened my eyes to the history and culture of these various locations. Can't wait to see more content for sure this year exciting times 🌍
im literally crying by watching your videos, I miss Sichuan so much, miss all the affordable and delicious food along the roads which are impossible to find in US.
Wanted to thank you! I got really sick last year and it was hard for me to eat. I would watch your videos and it got me hungry. Can't tell you how much I appreciate it!
Follow me on Insta for behind the scenes: instagram.com/thefoodranger We are continuing our street food journey through Sichuan and making our way to the South of China into Yunnan. We found some incredibly delicious street foods you’re going to love in this video! And one of the SPICIEST things I’ve ever eaten!I would love to hear from you in the comments below too! Thanks so much for watching, and I hope you’re doing well and eating well!
I've been watching your videos for a while and I really enjoy them. Watching your videos has actually inspired me to become a chef and cook this kind of food. It's like an art. I love the variety of spices used and I love the many different flavors that are provided. Not to mention I love spicy foods I love the way it's prepared. I've been making things from home and found that I have a passion for it. Piano is my main thing but this will be my other goal. If you have any tips on where to start in becoming this kind of chef it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your videos and I look forward to many more!
Trevor, great stuff and all those spicy chilis! Yes!! Love listening to you speak Chinese and love how it puts a smile on the locals to communicate with you too! Keep up the good work. Cheers!
I really appreciate the map overlay in your video so I know where you are heading geographically! Thanks for the content. Been binging your videos since I found you and they are amazing
You know what trevor, i saw your notification,i opened it, and i click the thumbs up even i havent see your video. . Simply enough, because your video never stop to satisfying me
Absolutely love the spicy food in this video! ! ! Would love to visit Sichuan! I love your fluent language skills. I'm practicing myself, but it takes much time and commitment.
@@aliexsimth4980 Really? Dumpling robot? I've seen noodle robot in videos.... Well, maybe we're in The Future now! I hope someone makes a video from that factory, "how it's made" style. Meanwhile, it's amazing that one lady working in an open kitchen can get out such a nice lunch in a fast-food timing. In the US it takes like six people to run a Taco Bell, plus computers! Or a burger place. Even in the US I once visited a Chinese noodle restaurant run by two old guys- one cooking, one doing everything else, dealing with customers, menus, money, and also being the waiter. They had a few hundred customers and weren't killing themselves! No computer, no automation. They had the attitude of that nice lady at 8:00, and said that the secret was the prep, that someone we didn't see worked for hours in the morning cutting things up, parboiling noodles, making stock.... So when those guys opened the door the kitchen was rolling.
Chinese food is one of my favourite foods here in Canada but it does not compare to the actual heart and soul of China itself. No disrespect to Chinese food here, i’m just saying that wish I could try real Chinese street food. Trevor you are awesome and you gave me more ideas on what I want to try because I am no picky eater. I’ll eat anything. Congrats on one million
The female chef at around 8.00 what a great woman, i can see her beautiful mind and personality. This is the kind of woman i would found a family with.
Trevor congrats on 1 million, just awesome. I hope you do more videos in India. Thanks Ting for all you do too. We know you're a big part of it. Take care guys! 💙
I love all your videos fellow Canadian..i am in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Icam addicted to your videos and you get to show us how exciting food is where you travel..Thank you Trevor for the experience you share with us..You and ting ting are the BEST!!!
It is said that because Zigong used to be the capital of salt-making and it was such a powerful industry, people there were super rich and they paid a lot of attention to making good food :)
I used to live off $100/month for food, going to clubs, drinking, and I was going out to eat all the time and not being cheap ^_^ China is really good for cost of living.
Unfortunately things are getting much more expensive now in China. I live in the US. I used to go home (Shanghai) and buy lots of stuff like clothes. Now I feel it's even cheaper here in the states.
@@jackyliu4748 it mostly depends what part of China you’re visiting. Some areas/ cities are still cheap. Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing can get pretty steep price there mostly because of the technology and foreigners travel there so they have to make prices double

It's amazing to see everything so fresh and colorful in even the tiniest of shops. America should take note.
0:55 meanwhile the Chinese restaurant across the street charges me 6 bucks for 8 dumplings.
Huang Billy , I just learned from news that China have lunched their all robert factory to make excellent jiaozi, 200,000 per hour!
Maybe you mistake 6 RMB for 6Dollar. Or You were cheated by them.
