      Wow these comments are the ones I save for the tough days... Thank you so much for the feedback and support of the channel!

    The only part I needed help in was actually how to import the XML file in premiere pro and you didn't show a second of that. StreamYard is easy...getting it to work in Premier is not.

    Okay this is helpful I cannot seem to figure out how to import these files from local recording to DaVinci or Premier Pro. Can you please show us that?

    My question Kirk is does the local recording only save on the host device or guest as well

    • @kirkrnugent
      @kirkrnugent  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the comment and support of the channel. The local recording saves video and audio locally for each person in the studio and then uploads it to StreamYard servers. So to answer your question it’s both… It saves the host video and audio to the hosts machine and saves each guests video and audio to their individual machines but it’s not permanently saved locally. It’s only saved there to get a good high res copy ultimately it’s uploaded to StreamYard servers where the Host will have access to download it and use as they please. Hope that makes sense

    4:25 Thank for the info, Kirk! I recently tried another service with local recording and unfortunately, the files didn't sync at all. Now I intend to to try streamyard and i hope to have better results. I notice you said "attempts". Are you implying that it doesn't work all the time? Thanks, again!

      It’s worked well for me haven’t noticed any issues at all I think I was referring to saving us some time which they did but I used the term attempt cause time can be used in so many other ways

    THINK YOU WENT OF BASE HERE A LITTLE FROM WHAT U SAID AT THE START...I AM LOOKING TO USE A VIDEO MADE FROM CAP CAUT...AND RUN IT AS A PREMIERE ON MY YOU TUBE CHANNEL USING STREAMYARD???

      I was referring to Adobe Premier (in the title). The Premier feature from RUclips must be done using RUclips. With StreamYard you can do this and I show that in this video - ruclips.net/video/ou3qpiELh4U/видео.htmlsi=teciKQLHvRv5kA6H

    You didn't show what it looks like when imported to premiere pro

      Didn't think to include importing it into the editing software platforms... I use Davinci Resolve but I have the other two. Thanks for that relevant feedback, my apologies if that missing piece makes this video no helpful for you.

      @@kirkrnugent It's helpful actually but, I just want to see if the frames are already in position when it's imported to premiere pro.

    Dude, this video is elementary. What everyone wants to know is how to actually edit (in sync) the videos from streamyard after importing the xml file into Final Cut Pro. Can you offer any help with this, or point to a resource?

    • @kirkrnugent
      @kirkrnugent  Год назад

      Thank you for your honest feedback, we don’t always hit the mark and as you rightly mentioned this was aimed at those who didn’t even realize the feature exists so it is intentionally basic. Sorry this didn’t meet your need and unfortunately I don’t have any resources or videos I can point you to. I will add this to my content list to see if we can create that resource in the future. Again apologies this video wasn’t what you were looking for and didn’t answer your question.

    Why do these software companies always overlook DaVinci Resolve?

    • @kirkrnugent
      @kirkrnugent  Год назад

      Great comment! I use Davinci Resolve and there is an option to use for that but its not as direct. I'll pass your message along to the SY team. Seems they are hoping to add others later on and hopefully Davinci is apart of that list. Also I am unfamiliar with the differences for setting up the export for each platform, it may be that Premiere and FCPX just have a more straightforward process.
