Cumbria, Backbarrow flooding Dec 2015

The River Leven that drains Lake Windermere was in full spate following nearly 10 inches of rain following the winter storm named Desmond by the Met Office. The video shows Backbarrow Gorge, the Whitewater Hotel with water flowing from its balcony and the immersion of the old bridge incapable of handling the sheer volume of water.
