For this fight, I'm using lvl 15 Improve Guard and it really helps a lot since you can guard much more easily.
What are also need are: Uplifting for faster Ougi Charge, Improve Dodge, Autorevive, Guts, and Aegis+Tyranny for at least 40k HP so you don't get 1 shotted by everything. Stun is also nice but it needs a lot of commitment to work
For the camera you need to set it up in the settings, it's not fixed by default. Which is annoying but once you set it up, it really does make everything much better.
Can you share whats ur setup for camera settings?

Stout Heart + Steel Nerves + Guts + Auto Revive and probably a couple more bits and bobs but who’s counting. And when we killed it I actually had less defense because defense means fuck all when every ability one-shots you.

Who cares about one shots honestly, this is a game where you got Guts, Autorevive, potion hoarder and a long ass bar to actually lose, how else are you supposed to make a hard boss if you dont get one shot?
Also lets be honest pretty much everyone's got a glass cannon build because all content before Lucilius was piss easy except like 2 quests.

I only play this one solo since I think it'll be hard on public lobbies + I can't darn queue up with somebody. Out of 24 clears, I only got 3. Nice drop rate lmao.

This doesn’t change anything I said, quite the opposite, it should have been much harder much earlier to prevent this type of jump in difficulty. Doesn’t bother me either way, but it’s a worse player experience imho.
I do agree with Rui here. Yes it's challenging even tho most of Lucy's challenge is artificial for me. The rewards for the quest doesn't justify the quest itself. Kinda sux tbh. It's a worse endgame grind than sunbreak.
It's really not that hard, you just have to swap out your supp damage for some more survivability. I got the no deaths no potions achievement in 5 runs.
This fight is a skill check. As simple as that.

3:07 - Can’t really help it, since he’s currently imprisoned in another dimension (we couldn’t kill him as Sandalphon and Lucilius are on a different kind of immortality.) We just saw him again in GBF in the latest event as a cameo, where the real Phoenix flew through dimensions. Lucilius raid here is actually nerfed and should’ve been harder, as Dark Rapture (Hard) was implemented as a time waster for people who maxed out everything in GBF, rather than just a normal raid (he’s since been powercrept by himself, with Dark Rapture Zero and he has blue hair there), which is why he should be hard enough to take weeks of blind tries like in GBF (the GBF version has an entire spreadsheet for what to do, when, and what characters.)
In GBF, Paradise Lost was a gate where you needed 30k HP, or you died on Round 0 and you had to heal on entry/couldn’t dodge or defend against. A more normal ‘hard’ raid for average players would be Ultimate Bahumut or a 2.0 raid like the real 6 Dragons, compared to Impossible/HL Endgame raids like Dark Rapture (Hard), Beelzebub, or Diaspora, for everyone with everything (Dark Rapture was just dropped without an intro in GBF, because Raids are generally non-canon variants of the real Event fights.) The Raids were added because the main story still is ongoing and Events/Side Stories explore other characters/locations. Regarding Sandalphon (Event), he has two SBAs in GBF (one needs a special buff, which you get from SBA, to be consumed to activate Paradise Lost.)

I don’t think the fight is even hard just gotta focus on the mechanics over doing all the damage possible killed it first try in a grp with auto revive and potion hoarder it’s pretty easy to stay alive
Easier solo until the community learns to stop burning SBAs and save for paradise lost. This isn’t bahamut. The first paradise lost has such a long meter that could be used for damage it kills me to see people activating it immediately.
The first paradise lost is actually bad for damage because he’s shielding himself, the second one though is real tasty for dmg so you should delay SBAs

@rurikhan you want to fullburts the first slow Paradise lost because you get a special overcharge gimmick also prevent the paradise lost directly after that one.
Well that’s what the alpha is there for 30% increase on after using it
This fight is merely a simulation by Sandalphon. Lucilius is currenly trapped in some dimension after the actual fight in one of the original game's major story arcs.
If you dont like it, then unfortunately youll just have to deal with it. Also bringing an iconic granblue villain just like that with no buildup is just lame

what ai teammates would you recommend for this? I play Vane too
Any AI will work technically, but the strongest AI allies currently by ranking are Zeta/eugen/percival last I checked. All are solid. Yadarha is solid, and so is siegfried.
For some safety, running Rosetta/charlotta in this fight isn't a bad idea as well cause they both have teamwide damage reduction skills that are very useful for survival.
While i get not liking, it's just a memory you honestly could not have just just put in lucilius into a single quest it would do the character alot of injustice imho
So you need like 40 of them just for one character in order to get 4 sigils and level them up to 14.
160 for full party. Even with guaranteed drop every time this would be a grind since you cannot afk this fight.
I killed him 2 times and I am not gonna bother honestly. Good fight but to grindy.

Dev actually made labor easy, if they follow the original, people will quit lol, where is my debuff labor, gopher should kill if duplicate race, where is black wing, dmg to body should be limited according to wing buff present lol
That would require us to have 6 people party to clear 2 more elements
looks easy enough, i thought it would be like 2 times harder than this like how on the original game it tooks 1 day until 1 team of 6 players to finally able to defeat him when ten of thousands players failed, unlike in this game where 2-3 tries is enough for 1 team
the difficulty jump isn't that big in fact it doesn't feels significant at all for me personally, that might be because i've been playing harder and faster game before

I be trying 2 days now him is not fun at all I know some people who did delete this game bc him and u can not see what is happened like 50% of the time lol
Skill checks will filter some people. It's unfortunate, I guess, but it's just that simple.
i hope they fix it to where it isn't this miserable i beat it once and did it with again with people..... again i hope they start giving the player a chance to level up in the game more with more sigil slots or anything cause this is plain retarded especially when some rewards are so small and too stupid.
It's really not that bad,we had consistent sub 5 minute clears last night. It's mostly just learning to survive more than anything

dont like the fight at all , cleared it 5 times its to random, to many cutscenes, cant react to shit because the whole screen is clustered with billion abilities
