Can you do a video talking about the specifics of EF.
Accommodation, fees, classes etc.
okay, I am hoping to do another EF trip also. I stayed in the B and B which was a great option. I didn't do host family because the one they had for me was like 40 minutes outside of town. Originally I was going to be in a 2 week class but once I got there i really wanted to stay and extended to 5 weeks. I went for about 20 hours a week of class. If I paid the hotel room myself it would have been 55 euro per day which included breakfast.
"Awwww" the reaction I had when I saw the title
yes!
You look so happy to be in Italy! I hope once I am done with college I can go there! Are you going to do a video on your overall experience?
I might do a video about everything that went in to selecting the right trip and what I would do again or differently. I am trying to go back to Rome in December and maybe somewhere else this summer. Thanks for watching!!!
@@itslucawhitaker ooooo yay excited for you!
I HOPE THE TITLE IS TRUE 😫😫
I'm not there full time yet but this is the plan
@@itslucawhitaker YESS
Your videos have been so inspiring lately. Makes me so relax and want to travel and take in life by the moments. Love u so much luca
Thank you so much!!
How long u staying in Italy. Enjoy your time there. God bless
ahhhh i think villa pamphili is probably one of my favorite places on earth
I love that I share that with you
Hi Luca I'm italian and I actually live in Rome. I love to see how passionate and curious you are about our culture. I watched a lot of vlog of youtubers coming here and I noticed you have a completely different mindset, you actually want to learn and grow by exploring the city and I think that it is so heartwarming and inspiring.
Btw I remember that you didn't understand how to drink from the little fountain. First of all here are called "nasone" which means "big nose". Anyway you have to completely cover the big hole with your finger and then the water will come out from a second little hole that it's a little bit higher and it will be easier to drink it. Let me know if you try!
Antoinette, thank you! I will plug the big nose😜I will return to Rome. I am trying to find an internship and will continue my language studies. I LOVE your beautiful country. Thank you for sharing
Loving these Italy vlogs!!!

We loved Italy!! It was BEAUTIFUL
It is incredible
@@itslucawhitaker it is!! We want to go back so bad
yes but only to visit, living there is horrible
@@ariannanicolebuchetti4994 awhhh man...why?
@@LukesGarageGym I'm Italian and it's difficult to explain but i never advise her, especially to young people. It is really difficult to find work and practically more than half of your earnings go to the state. but in general many Italians in fact then go abroad because there is nothing here.
not only I'm shy but also I have a fear of strangers as a girl ,you know what I mean
I know what you mean. It's hard to make a lot of friends that way too
I'm not sure which is more Bewitching......the Eternal City or Luca? Definitely Luca!!!😊
You are very kind, thank you

Going to Rome this weekend, any recommendation for bars or districts to go out?
How many days will you stay and in which area? I work in a hotel in Rome so I know the city quite well, I can give you some info if you need😊
@@valentinasalvati2139 Wow awesome, I’m staying in a hotel near the Termini station and I’ll be there from Thursday till Tuesday next week, would really love some advice thanks in advance
@@joshgarcia4968 ok 5 days are quite good to see the most important things😊 Termini is central so you'll be able to move easily (both line A and B of underground from there 😉); personally I always suggest to explore each day a different not to extended area..for example one day for Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Circo massimo (plus a quick visit to Giardino degli Aranci is a must, amazing view of the city from there😉). One day for the historical centre so from Piazza Venezia to Piazza del Popolo, with Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps along the way. One day for the Vatican side (Musei Vaticani is obviusly a must see, racommended with a guide if possible) and Castel Sant'Angelo. Then Maybe Half a day for Trastevere and if you have time, a visit to S. Callisto Catacombs and Via Appia would amaze you😊 take your time to explore even the smallest alleys, that's the charming beauty of the city🥰 I can write few pleaces if you are a food lover as well (let me know 🤣)
@@valentinasalvati2139 Wow thank you for all the recommendations, I’ll be sure to check those out, and if you do have some tips for places to eat I’d love to hear them too if it’s not too much for you to write 😅
@@joshgarcia4968 don't worry, my pleasure😉 in Trastevere I recommend Da Vittorio, typical osteria where you can taste the best of traditional food of Rome😉 Roscioli is very good for both aperitifs and lunch/dinner (they have amazing cutting boards with all kind of cured meat, cheese and other delicious stuff..you can book on their website😉). Another nice place for abundant aperitif and cool location is Hotel Locarno. Then for a quick stop, Caffè sant'Eustachio is an institution, someone says is the best espresso of the city (they keep their recipe secret from decades). Last but not least, one of my favourite places is Two Sizes, in the centre as well, where there is the best tiramisù of Rome in my opinion🤣 and don't miss some good pizza "al taglio" (square sliced, not round shaped) at L'antico Forno di Fontana di Trevi or Forno Campo De' Fiori. General rule is, don't stop next to the turistic spots, high prices and often not big quality👍🏻
What the name is the meditation that you listen to
most of the time I meditate in silence. I wrote a blog post today on my website that mentions the type of things I try and focus on. I hope that helps Flavia
I hope my fellow italians will not be too pushy with this pretty girl😂
You have to live in los angeles or paris but not italy 😉😇
Really, Paris and not Italy? So curious as to why but Paris is amazing.
*goes to Italy once*
Returning in December and it was my third time in Rome
I defiantly wish that I would have stopped to talk to someone ill never see again... I wonder if we'd have been friends!
Right😊
You is You favorite singer ?

I am from Roma.
I am originally from Colorado and then Florida and now Atlanta for college and hopefully soon back to Italy. I love it and am looking for an internship
@@itslucawhitaker Thank you.

You should come to Israel 🇮🇱
It’s about three hour flight from Rome :)
My uncle is from Tel Aviv and they go back and forth from Florida a few times a year. I am sure one day I will visit with my aunt and uncle. We have lovely family there to visit.
@@itslucawhitaker OMG that will be an awesome idea❤️
There are many beautiful places to see like the dead!
Whaaat
It will be a process...but i'm making my goal to live and work there
@@itslucawhitaker Wish you all the best Luca❤️I know you'll get there soon enough ,you deserve it!
Whats the best advice for someone who is doing EF next summer (bc of u I might add)? my insta is @sydneedimascio I sent u a DM
i just came across this and I thought I had responded before....sorry. My best advise is learn the transportation system in advance so you don't get stuck somewhere while exploring AND you have the confidence to explore because you know the system. I got a little lost on a Sunday and found the buses, trams etc don't run and I had a hard time getting back to the dorm which by the way was a b&b hotel. Have an amazing trip!!!
Hello love 🌹
