    “Have you thought you might go to Hell?”
    Only every millisecond I exist. I pray hoping Jesus will find some meager worth in my sinful soul and tiny existence.
    Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

    I have thought about the possibility of maybe going to hell. It's incredibly sobering. I have a lot of weaknesses, and it terrifies me. Glory be to God that He shows us the way into heaven. May all of us arrive in heaven, through the grace and sanctification of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

    How do Christians work in this world and not get torn to pieces by the systems, from the lowest job to the highest we are harassed beyond measure to make enough money to pay our way, and in order to do so we are forced to agree with things that we absolutely do not agree with. To get a job anywhere I am forced to give up my passion for Christ and feed a doctrine of evil in order to simply be accepted so I can be allowed to climb the horrible ladder down. How do we work in today's systems?

    So does the genuine Orthodox Church believe in a literal place of fire and eternal torment separate from God ie hell? Like scripture says and the church fathers? This talk sounds very “River of Fire” by Alexander Kalimiros. I’ve heard from OCA, goarch, and Antiochians that hell is simply feeling God’s love as suffering ie hell.

    what if you've sinned too many times that it just seems like you are slapping God in the face over and over.. and you feel like just quitting grieved to know what a failure i have been to God and not even wanting to be with him and yet now, outright REJECTING HIM! just completely utter filth and useless better to have never known Jesus Christ and his teachings for now that one knows and yet goes back to the world and it's fleshly desires.... one was never saved to begin with... i believe no matter if i "preach" Christ to anyone it will do nothing and i will nevertheless ultimately still go to hell for denying him.

    • @OrthodoxTradition
      @OrthodoxTradition  3 месяца назад +4

      That is a very wrong way of thinking. You have to understand God's love. Return to him every time you may fall, and have hope. Understand that salvation is a gift from Him, and he wants to save you.
