Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It really ups the confidence to see someone else do the job beginning to end before I try it on my -S.
Best of luck with it - it's fairly straightforward. I recommend you go back in after a couple of hundred miles and just check the castellated nut doesn't need tightened another flat or two :)
Don't know if you realised when you completed the assembly but I don't think that grease seal is the correct one. That looks like the seal for the earlier style (pre ABS?) which seals on the inner diameter and is located in the rear of the hub, sealing on the upright. Later cars ( I think as a result of the change to ABS which your car is) have a seal which locates on the upright and seals on the diameter at the end of the hub (behind the large bearing). It may go together but not give a propper seal.
Well done. My 1984 front bearings are starting to squeal a bit. Just drove 158 miles around North Yorkshire
Interesting video, thanks for sharing it. I have a 89 HE coupe. Fantastic car. Smooth and so quiet.

On the plus side, you remembered your gloves this time.
I should get a medal or something!
@@jamieduff1981 Simply for having a go with this beast, yes, indeed you should.
