    Interesting that they finally get around to doing what the fans have been telling them for weeks now.

    how many gold gloves has Cassie won? Suzuki is a five-time NPB All-Star, six-time NPB Best Nine Award winner, and a five-time winner of the NPB Golden Glove Award. Yeah, Cassie is some much better defensively. Great Call Mick. You are way too high on these minor league kids. these Majior leagues would look great playing against double and triple A players.

      We've just never seen Caissie drop those types of routine plays.

      @@cubsbaseballchannel yes. But has he played in the M.L.B yet? With all those eyes on hi with ever minute detail of this game put under a microscope by idiot fans like me? With the challenge of right field in Wrigley? Or as I used to hear it side, but not so much anymore, in a stadium with a third tier (deck)?
      I doubt it.
      While the Japanese league isn't the majors, everyone (including yourself) talks about much better the Japanese league has gotten. That it is better than it is just a tick below M.L.B. would you say a single A player is better the a triple A player just because you never seen him drop a ball like that? Or would you say that the pitching and hitting is better and the playing conditions (lights, fan and media scrintany, ect) is great and the guy needs more reps at the position at that level? While Sota has been in the majors entering his third year, how many games has he missed now? Way too many, in my option. And right field at Wrigley isn't the easiest (you hear players after they retire complain about how touch it was (is).

    If Happ Dansby Seiya Cody and the other 5 black holes in the lineup could score runs with any consistency we wouldn’t be celebrating calling up a bench player in place of another bench player where our losses shouldn’t be coming down to his dime of dozen weak ground outs.

    You people screaming for Bote have very short memories. He certainly isn't even a bandaid for what's ailing this team

      I saw. We have to remember that Brown is a rookie and still trying to figure out how to be consistent. But yeah, just when you think they might string a few wins together, they lay another egg. But the game isn't over and they can still pull it out.

    Morel cannot be this teams clean up hitter! Enough! He's killing us. Nice guy, personality. Also, Suzuki is too slow on the bases. Put him 3rd. I'm aggravated. 🤮

    We don’t need another dude who can’t field, run or throw and strikes out 200 times and hits .200. Pass on polar bear. 35 mil a year for that? Negative. Wisdom hits dingers too but he can’t catch either.

    • @XCal1bur23

      Could not agree more. I've never understood the fascination Cubs fans have with Alonzo. Great, he hits a ton of homers. So what? He can't do literally anything else a ballplayer is supposed to do. 😂😂. No thank you, next!

    • @johnlenon8872
      @johnlenon8872 5 месяцев назад

      @@XCal1bur23 exactly. Rizzo hit what, .250 or .270? And hit 30 dingers, won gold gloves, and saved a bunch of errant throws that earned him a gold glove and improved the team's defensive fielding percentage. And then would jack a dinger or take a walk, or get nailed by a pitch for a free walk. And was a leader. Now we need to put Cody at 1B and PCA in CF which improves us defensively at both positions.

    Good keep Madrigal off this team! Suzuki isn't good enough to be making one hand catches in right. Please instruct him to start using 2 hands like he was taught in little league
