I am watching this in 2020 and I am a perfectionist and all of my friends weren't one, but now that I see this I know I am not alone. For example, we were decorating and I swear that I moved my Christmas tree like 15 times until I thought it was right. I would've moved it more, but my husband said it looked perfect. The fact that things have to be perfect for Yo actually makes me feel better. When I decorate a cake, I have an old wooden ruler for measuring things. If I could only take a single cake decorating tool with me to somewhere else where I need to bake, I'd take the ruler. :)
Your borderline OCD tendencies are at least half of my reasons for watching you over ALL the other RUclips cake decorators. I'm mildly disappointed for any episode where you DON'T break out a ruler of some kind before you're done.
