Absolutely. He was extremely drunk, very aggressive and already agitated from the previous encounter with the bikers. If anything, The cops did a wonderful job at preventing the situation from escalating. People forget how easy it is to kill someone, Quite literally 1 wrong move can lead to internal bleeding, Nerve damage etc.
Imagine if the drunk guy managed to get ahold of the gun. With luck he'd be too drunk to disable safety... with bad luck he'd be so drunk he accidentally disabled it and shot a police officer, or maybe even innocent civilians in the process. Difficult situation handled perfectly. People really need to stop screaming abuse of authority every time the police arrests someone who is literally resisting arrest. That's not police brutality or anything, that's a job well done

people need to learn that attacking other people or damaging their property even out of road rage is a bad idea which is usually why i prefer to conceal carry if possible cause hopefully a gun being present will make people think twice or worst case i have to introduce some lead into someone’s body and then they will hopefully learn their lesson and hesitate to mess with people also if you get angry easily or road rage please try to do something about it like anger management classes or take your anger out at the gym or just go to one of those places that you pay for a certain amount of time in a room to just go ham and destroy everything and let your anger out that way just not on people and if you see people doing something wrong don’t fight them and pick up an assault charge just memorize the license plate and report it to the police and if you can record it on camera
