Just try to get it off your gums asap and it’ll help!
Any brand of whitening pens are not recommended to touch your gums. May cause irritation😊

The “overnight” pen is supposed to be fine for sensitive teeth but I read the “express” pen can be stronger and cause sensitivity pains
