That's a drastic weather change, going from a morning storm to bright and sunny that fast! Sucks about the bolt, but I'm glad that you were able to get up and running again.
Although the forecast was calling for sunny conditions, the weather when I woke up had me seriously doubting if the forecast was correct or not. If I'd stopped as soon as I heard the rattling, I might not have lost the bolt! I'm glad the guys were able to scrounge up a workable temporary fix though. A trip to Lowe's after I got home got me set permanently though.
Nice video, Will. Great decision to fly the drone from that overlook. I believe that is the same overlook I was impressed with when I drove the Georgia Traverse (the west half as part of a longer trip from OKC to my granddaughter's college graduation party in Warner-Robins). But I didn't have the dramatic weather you experienced. Thanks for once again letting me "ride along"!
Yeah my heart sank when I started hearing the rattling. Thankfully the guys from Overland Dads had a bolt that was close enough to work until we got her to home depot. The fingertip is almost 100%
Enjoying living good memories
The best!

Great video. Some of my best camping stories involve crazy weather!
It definitely made for some good stories!
Bringing a pitcrew with you certainly makes trail repairs easier!!
Yep! They were great. I was fumbling around trying to find a bolt, and they just took over and went to work!
Awesome video!
Thanks!
Great trip! Well worth the drone mishap and a missing bolt. ❤
Indeed! And the fingertip is almost as good as new!
Great video! Editing is on-point.
Thanks, man!

Thanks, Mark! Whenever you want to head out this way let me know!
Fantastic video! I loved it.
Thanks!!
I would have slept all day in that storm!
I wanted to!
These videos turned out great man! I’m finally getting caught up. 👌
Thanks! We'll make an epic joint video one of these days!
Another great video! This was such a crazy trip! But I’m so glad we got to do this with you! 💪🏻
Thanks! It was definitely a great time. I look forward to many more, my friend!
I for one really enjoyed seeing your two channels team up. I would love to see more of that!
I'm all messed up! I watched part 3 before part 2! Sucks about the bolt, but at least you all were able to keep her running! How's the fingertip? 🤣
