Excellent. My piano teach said practice at least 30 minutes a day.
That was 50 years ago and I didn't do that and now I'm sad.
You would be incredible if you'd practiced for 30 mins a day for 50 years

I have focused on my what I know are my weaknesses. I still need to strengthen my knowledge of scales. So I play rhythmic exercises in scales in all twelve keys. Some months back I worked on basic triads in all inversions, and that has paid off enormously. Now it's arpeggios, and I'm also combining those with the scale exercises. You're right. Daily consistent practice pays off.

Agree Sy, structuring your practice session is integral otherwise you can be reduced to tinkering which is fine but not if it hinders the progress in to becoming a real jazz warrior. Am in the progress of learning to read and reverse chord notation and extensions.

Don't do what I've done. I used to practice 6 hours a day, every day. Classical piano the rachmaninov way. I'm having an operation on my left hand for trigger thumb next week.
