@@StardustLegacyFighter Right now, windows market share is the lowest ever and apples is the highest ever. While Windows is still dominating the market, the 2 lines are diverging quickly. It will be interesting to see where we are in 10 years, but it's the flawless eco system that will keep many of us like myself stuck in apple world. Windows is catching up in it's OS flaws, but most windows laptops have everything soldered on, not just macs. And android phone makers are starting to serialize their parts too, like samsung. By the nature of supporting hundreds of different hardware processors and chip sets, I don't see android and windows ever getting as seamless and easy to use for the average user. Errors on mac drivers are rare, because it is gatekeeped and has fewer hardware variants, while windows driver errors are common. Yes, they are getting better, but it's just basic probability. If there's 150 cell phone boards with different combinations of chip sets, the probability of issues are higher than when there's 5 or 6 chip sets in use at any given time (apple), and the new chip-sets are mostly an extension of the previous, making issues even less likely. Even if you can ensure all of the different features exist in android that all of the different models have, you will always end up with a lot of bloat code that doesn't need to be there for your device because it doesn't have that feature. This is in part why less ram 4gb of ram in apple can be better than 8gb of ram at the same clock speed and generation on a windows or android device.

I got my first Mac when the M1 line came out; there is a lot to like, but yes, memory and HD space are priced way out of line. At the time, it would cost me a little over 2300 for a new PC, and I got the M1 for 1100, so it was a win. So now I still have it, and I will need a new computer later (2 years from now), but I don't know if the current price trend will continue on a Mac or if I will get a PC again and still pay a ton of money. Great video, btw!
Well, Yes and NO, Yes, you can upgrade your PC all you want. I had a monster case for 15 years, and that was the only thing that wasn't updated, So when upgrading a Video Card, I would need a new Mother Board, but why, because then the bottleneck would be CPU. Now I also need a new RAM stick, which costs. If I wasn't, video editing could be cheaper; I don't play computer games anymore. If I did, I would still have a PC. Also I had my first PC back 1988, also always did my upgrades myself...So, if you think I am an Apple fanboy, you are wrong. It just works better for me at this time in my life, but it is not for everyone. Lastly, I never said PC was going away! @@aaronstorey9712
Apple wouldn`t be the highest valued company in the world, without these huge profit margins. Well, second highest valued company now, but with some price increases, they can make it back to number 1. The customers will love to pay to those premium prices.
On the contrary, price increases would outprice a section of the market, specially during this difficult times, and thus decrease demand. Apple stock is precisely losing potential value due to concerns of a downtrend in iPhone demand. Investors value the company’s growing and loyal user base beyond the profit margins as they are more accurately correlated to growth potential
I hope the next generation wouldn't be so dumb to buy Apple products unwittingly. Yes, Apple always have a fan base of rich people who don't care about several thousands for a phone ( in fact, the higher the price, the more they like it, show their status), so they are there to exist as long as rich people exist. But I want people who are not rich don't buy Apple anymore, because clearly they are inferior to many other much affordable alternatives.

Still a lot of rich fools that keep buying apple products, sadly not everyone is aware enough
@@heyaisdabomb Yet for all the problems you list with all the phones and PCs I've had even if I just go since smart phones I've never had a single issue and don't know anyone who has. Some cover all and one covers their own. Different systems. Apple as I said elsewhere almost went under with the closed system. They're relying on brand loyalty (partly force) but unlike then when Ipod/Iphone saved them, they've got nothing markedly different from others. It's not enough.
that's just wrong, mac os marketshare is actually growing
Most people are simply marketing victims... I work with Macs (as a job) since 1984 and i never bought an iphone as i don't like closed controlled environments and hefty prices for what you get...
I bought iPhone 13 and I don’t feel it’s bad but in same time I don’t feel it’s better than average as smartphone I could sit at some mid-budget smartphone with android os I think

Spot on, one of the best videos SAM.
Apple pricing strategy is video game micro transactions but not micro
One of Sam's best!
I still have an 2015 Macbook Pro as my personal laptop. But, probably gonna switch to Linux when I am gonna upgrade my hardware. The new macbook prices does not make any sense.
i used to have macs until the 2009 27" imac. just 2 years before job's death. when i was looking for a new one, i was like "hell no, i'll change to windows".
If you can't repair it, you don't own it
With all the humor aside, this was accurate! Its important to put the word out! The companies do their best to make sure we dont own what we pay for, by giving us less and less control over it. You cant really swap a battery these days since the phone knows its not genuine "for your safety". Well than fucking sell the technicians your batteries! Or us! With no special contract that takes your rights!
People swapped batteries on their own and it was just fine!
Thanks sam!!
It was also to ensure that the phone would be "water tight". They trying to trick us like they are doing us a favor.
As always fantastic 😍🎉
Heh... i paid like 200$ for a second hand gaming MSI laptop from 2010, has big ass full 1080p display and it's modular. Came with 16gb of RAM, payed another 150$ for a GTX970M (HUGE upgrade over the original gtx560X it came with) and a CPU upgrade and guess what? I play whatever I need or want on the go... Do I need anything else? Fuck no...
Yes. 9 power banks.

apple is for people who don't ask for the price. probably get a similiar spec laptop for 400 dollars they are charging 2000 for.
Yeah what apple basically sells you is an average mid-range devices at it's best, but charge you with a premium price, they're such a scummy conpany

I've always found it Ironic how Apple always advertised how you can Use Microsoft Windows on a MAC, but they absolutely hate it if anyone tries to use Mac OS on non-Apple hardware.
I work in tech and what I hear from apple users always make me laugh *I'd love to change but I just feel stuck" 😂

“That’s just incredible!”
Bc they have a highly aggressive fanbase who'll defend anything they do
Quite possibly one of least intelligent fanbases on this planet.
More a US thing. I only know a handful with Iphones and no one does that 'it coz you're poor' nonsense. It's only recently some (like my son) discovered when losing their phone temporarily picking up a cheaper one find they work almost the same as their dear one. Then it's 'well I have to keep it because my friends use 'insert closed system' & 'it's encrypted' when there's plenty of ways to communicate and SMS et al where I am was never hacked since mobiles were invented & government snoops regardless. Apples sales pitch is trotted out verbatim by those never owning anything else.

Pc will last forever and with upgrades can go for a good 5-10 years easy

Introducing the old new iCharge Express, where you’ll replace your gadgets in half the time for double the price!
Peoples think it's a funny video..... but... it's a documentary, nothing funny here, just pure facts.
GOLD Sam. :)
