The jb weld that comes in a putty roll works a little better. At least you were able to find a new tank💪. Dont worry about the rust in your eye, iron intake is important for blood health. Stick your thumb in the hole! Thats what she said
JB weld products has got me out of troubles a few times, rad leak, air to air leak and broke a plastic part on the transmission cable my 2006 GMC encase the broke part with the puddy held for years
I fixed one like that with jb weld just temporary and ran it for years sold the trailer and never did anything else to it I was able to let it cure a couple days thowe

JB weld saved me when my radiator fins decide to split open on my '9400i ....... I was in Vermont And the price on a radiator up here was like $2,000 Plus you know the $1,000 to put it in probably. Let's just say the radiator off eBay for $560 is a lot cheaper along with the 4 hours of labor I invested in it.
You tried your best with JB weld but it needed to be sanded down to bare metal and smooth. Then put a small dab with a metal patch so it's as thin as possible and tight with a ratchet strap.
True to the name DIY! You’re the real deal!!!👊😎
I literally had the same leak last week. New tank installed. Luckily I made it home, but my compressor was cranking hard to keep me aired up.
Nice work boss man. Adapt and overcome, the DIY way. ;)
Good reminder of what it takes to stay running sometimes!
Thankfully you were able to fix it!
I lay around under my trailer from time to time myself. 😊 nine nap place isn't it😅

Had the same thing happen to me 3 weeks ago.
I was empty headed for home and brakes were starting to apply.
Caged that alxe and limped home.
You're the man!!

Good job on the repair. I never liked working on the trailer air system.
Another thing that helps the JB Weld stay longer is wrap a rachet strap around it (after dry) and then you help against the outward pressure.
Had the same problem, new tank $190.
Adam going all out Diy MacGyver 😅😅
Bigger the gob, the better the job.
Hey Adam it's Nappy, you would make a good road service guy. BTW,

Good work sir. You definitely chose the better path being able to fix that yourself. Thinking outside the box once again.
