I believe the 1/4 berserk statues together are the most appealing compared to all kinds of series. If you put backstories and bias aside, marvel, dc, and star wars can't beat it.
For me personally, I think it’s because it’s hard to maintain and wears out. Too many problems. Stretching, fading, tearing, cleaning dust particles caught between the threads and seams, staining from spills, loose threads, fur shedding or feathers molting if it’s a cheap fur or feather piece, difficult to mend and repair if you’re not a professional seamstress, and just overall time getting to it. It’s like your favorite shirt from the 80s. Even if you kept it in the closet and sealed in plastic, it still looks old and worn out and smells funny once you take it out, unlike fully sculpted statues from the 70s or older.
This is definitely an awesome looking statue that I would know nothing about if I didn't watch this channel cuz I would have never heard of this berserk line of statues. Awesome content as usual so many cool statues that you give the rest of us a way to enjoy👍 definitely can't wait to see the other Statue of him in animal form
I see videos and he's my favorite of the Beserk line and top 5 statues of the year. Knowing he looks that much better in person is crazy. Just has a nasty energy to him would love to own this one.

I don't follow this series, but that is a wonderfully designed and manufactured piece! I agree that the mixed media fur is fantastic! And did you say the armor was sculpted? Because I swore that was a form of leather! Great details all around the statue! I even like the bird waiting to pick at the dead bodies! GOD Bless Brother as always!

I have Zodd as well killer piece. I used to have the regular Guts but then saw that the EX was available so got that. Not too long after that I noticed Bloody was on the web site so had to get him and I sold the reg version. So now I have ex,bloody,armor and Zodd. Femto slipped out of my hands due to the covid nonsense but maybe one day. The other pieces look great too but I don't need them all. Apostle Zodd would be amazing to have but you already mention the $$$ which is insane imo.

For those who don't know: The exclusive version has Zodd holding a Kushan helmet. The Kushans were an enemy empire to Griffith and he's kind of the ruler of Zodd in the Berserk manga. Just read the manga! It's simply the best one I've read.
Some atmospheric lighting on this (possibly from below or behind) would be interesting. I think this is one of those statues you don't want too brightly lit because the shadows would add a good amount of grit to the scene.

Amazing manga wouldn't recommend the anime. This is a bad ass statue. Sculpt and paint are awesome did an amazing job telling a story. So much going on with the base to the details in the mixed media. Only negative i would have is the size is massive if you don't have much room also the price is a little high but the Quality is there. Nice addition to the collection!
Mr.X you need more Lord Or The Rings or Hobbit piece to the Xtreme Collection , I'll collect LOTR statues like most collector's purchase marvel pieces lol everybody on that Mcu type high to point that marvel pieces are to common and overrated imo. A really cool statue. Whenever I see a really cool statue for a character I’m not familiar with, I’m tempted to buy it-but it always becomes outweighed by a really cool statue for a character I’m already attached to, which there are plenty of. It’s tough being a collector.
It's pretty damn impressive from here Mr.X 👍 I really like the 'East meets West' clash of styles that you get with manga sometimes. He looks like a cross between Conan the Barbarian and the Predator. I dig the base a lot with the gore and bodies. If your interest in anime is growing checkout 'Cowboy Bebop' if you haven't watched it already. 1 season only, my personal favorite. First4Figures is doing the line of statues. (Side note: Are you using UV proof overlays on your displayed CGC books? It's been recommended to me, not currently displaying any though)

WOW Zodd is huge. Is he really 1/4 or more like 1/3.5? IIRC Guts in that line is closer to 1/3.5 than he is 1/4 scale.
