Old video, I know, but I really think you should have put a flange on the end of the headers and bolted the lake pipes to them. Would probably make future maintenance a lot easier, if slightly obtrusive visually. That said - excellent job! Really like your techniques for the fit up. Thanks!
Actually, the side pipe slides onto the headers just after the elbows. I welded into the last elbow an under sized pipe with 2 1/2" exposed for the the side pipe to slide onto. There are three 1/4' pieces welded inside this inner tube/pipe on the exposed side so when the side pipe is attached it can be bolted in place with 3 equally spaced stainless bolts. This I thought would be a much cleaner way to fasten the side sides as opposed to flanges. Thanks for your comments.
