Divers watches, due to their size, usually have the crown set at the 4 o'clock position to get it out of the way, as they are screw down and larger in size. Seiko have always done it too! The Citizen Promaster Diver's Automatic NY0086 actually has the crown at the 8 o'clock position - a bone of contention amongst some. Cheers.
This watch has 5 hands on the one stem. Second, minute, hour, current depth, max depth. That’s a very big stack. No wonder the hands are not thicker. If they were, the watch itself would be even thicker than it is already.
Very true, you can’t change the physics of light. But probably 99% of dive watches will never see a depth of 5 m and below and the colour scheme attracts desk divers mostly. That could be an explanation but not a satisfying one for serious divers.
@@divewatchdude even this one? I mean theres hardly a better backup for your dive computer... than an actual dive computer. Deko alarm, depth gauge, depth memory... I bought one and soon expect to recieve it. But its black.

I bought this version but I had to return it because I find the red depth numbers hard to read. I also have the bn2036-14e with yellow depth numbers which is better since it easy to read.
I bought exactly the same. If you r in for a more expensive one, take a look at the oris aquis depth gauge or the iwc split minute. Those r nice as well. But the iwc is not iso certified tho.

@@provuksmc6619 I'm a big citizen fan and I like their Eco drive technology. I have my eye on a Citizen BN2021-03E for my next purchase.

.... WHy would you put the color red on a dive watch? You wouldnt see it if your below 5ish meters

@ uuuu the big, older, chunky brother
@@provuksmc6619 yes it is and it has the same movement. I like the look; it screams diver.😀
@ if you have the money for it, take a look at the fifty fathom 5018 😍
Expensive af and purely stunning
Good video. I am torn between this one and the black one, which one looks nicer to you? Thankyou for making video
Black one with baby blue hand comes on a really nice stainless bracelet. If I had to choose one I would go for the black one 👍
@@divewatchdude if I wanted to change band on the baby blue model, could I put a plastic band on it
Dimensions on the Pepsi version lugs are same as the ones on the black, so yes you could interchange the bands
@@divewatchdude thankyou for the information sir. Greetings from australia
