Heutopian Dream is totally a mood and I love it for that. It may be an odd comparison, but it makes me think of an amped up, high-end version of Colourpop’s Sailor Moon palette. Then, Moonlit Seduction is like… vibes a la the Moon Kingdom, or Crystal Tokyo. I started a new job this week and Moonlit Seduction was definitely my inspiration. I’d probably rank it 1st or 2nd of the 5 I now own.

Moonlit Sun is so underrated. Subversive was my first love and got me addicted to the motherships. However, moonlit seduction has been my most used, hitting pan, daily friendly. 🌛🌚!!! Anyone with neutral undertone this is 👌

You are to eyeshadow what Bob Ross was to paint. These videos are just so pleasant to watch/listen to. I’m trying to resist buying more makeup and am living vicariously through you with this palette. It’s just so pretty!
I absolutely LOVE this palette! I wear KILLER looks to work compliments of this masterpiece! This is definitely a top 3 in the Mothership portfolio for me.
Moonlit seduction had my immediate attention. I didn’t buy it on release, I waited for it to come on sale, but I had to have it. It’s even lovelier IRL. As a light skinned person that plum matte is problematic. Her mattes are designed to darker skinned people, which is fine. It’s hard to cater to the whole spectrum with a mere 10 shades. Sunlit seduction looks beautiful on deeper skin tones (Yay!) ND I need a nude palette (Not so much.) I don’t think a palette can be all things to all people.
It took a couple days before I had the time to really sit down and watch this, but the wait was worth it! I appreciate how much time and attention you put into these multi-look videos, especially when they’re for older palettes that may not always pull in the views. Your Mothership videos will always be an excellent resource.
I was planning to skip moonlit seduction because of the lack of baked shades, but when MS11 was released, I thought Imma get MSX! And true, it is a very well curated color story in MSX.

You’ve got me contemplating Moonlit Seduction & Subversive. I’ve been wanting Subversive for a few years at this point, but I’m also looking for a cool-toned palette to add to my collection. I put much more thought into my purchases now, so I’m waiting until I know for sure that these are the palettes for me. And with the holidays coming up and inevitable sales, I know I’m going to pull the trigger one one of them! I’m all in for this one fren! ❤
Moonlit Seduction isn’t fully cooltoned, BUT it is a great palette. It has become my favourite palette. It was my first mothership and I love it so much that it inspired me to get more motherships afterwards ❤
I agree with Irene, that it might not be the coolest toned but it has those outer space vibes that present cool overall. I would say that Subliminal is one of the coolest.
That’s why I think it may be perfect. I can’t do a fully cool-toned palette. I have to have a hit of warmth in there or the looks will tend to wash me out. I have a golden/slightly olive undertone (thanks to my Greek and Spanish roots), and I always need some warmth in a palette or I feel like I look like a corpse! I think with the rosewood shade and even the bronze shade to anchor things and most of the cool coming from the lid shades, this may be perfect for me. That fourth “halo” eye sold me though. This is going in my cart and I’m waiting for a sale to snatch it up! Thanks for the input!
Ah I love your multiple looks one palette 🥹. Perfect way to start my morning as I drink my coffee and getting ready for my yoga class. Moonlit seduction was the first Pat McGrath palette I purchased, then Midnight sun, the bronze one (forgot the name lol) and last heutopian dream. I’m very content with the 4 I have and I really feel like it covers everything.

wow, i want this palette now! only thing that would make your videos better is the ability to show off how sparkly (and shifty) some shades are. i wanted to see the lilac sparkle so bad!! despite this you have still convinced me to buy this palette, hah!

I bought Moonlit Seduction when it came out strictly because you are such a fan of it, and I adore it! I get more complements about the looks I get from this palette than from all my other Motherships, which I think speaks to Pat’s unique genius with this one. It looks good in the pan, sure, but in use something exceptional happens every time!
Oh my goodness. The fourth “halo” eye, drop dead gorgeous. That look may have been the one to convince me to buy this palette. While all the looks were beautiful, the Blitz Venus on the center gave me galaxy glam! It was Dua Lipa’s ‘Levitating’ in an eye look. 🎶 I got you moonlight, you’re my starlight…you can fly away with me tonight 🎶 ⭐️ Phenomenal video!
I used this one today with my Viseart cool mattes palette. Got a killer look. This one has moved up the ranks for me since I figured out the right combos for my coloring.
I wore moonlit seduction on Wed, this palette is just so special 😍 I was one of those that was disappointed when I saw the photos of this palette upon release, but then I grabbed it for 40% off on her Black Friday sale and I regret nothing- top 5 motherships in my honest opinion ❤️ I must recreate that Halo Eye- simply stunning!! I agree with you! Subversive is the most creative and beautifully curated IMO. My ranking of the ‘pink palettes’ are probably D. Rose II, Huetopian D. and Moonlit Seduction... in fairness though I have not played as much with the pink series motherships as I have been intrigued by the others. I still do not have Midnight Sun! I am pretty fair skinned tho; Scandinavian roots with the blue eyes and light brown hair… so not sure if it would work for me? I will prob wind up getting it, who am I kidding! 😂. I will try to hold off on Sunlit Seduction however, as I don’t see the point. Love your vids, keep it up! :)
I love the very first look/eye. It has a greenish tone which is surprising that happened w/bronze devotion w/xtreme Nocturne framing it. I wasn’t expecting that but I’m absolutely living for it!!!! 😍😍😍
Unpopular opinion... I sold my moonlit seduction palette. Even though it didn't work out for me, I know the woman who bought it was DELIGHTED to have it. I think I connect with palettes, or I don't. Huetopian Dream is my second favorite PML palette, and it's going to take a color story that speaks to my soul, for me to not compare. Maybe I am just satisfied with the makeup I have 🤔... 🤪naaaaah!

When I looked at VR Sextasy, I knew I saw something similar before. Went searching, that shadow is similar to Alien Moon from PML’s Deep Space Divinity quad.
I love this palette. The first two I bought were divine rose and subliminal. But going in store and searching this was my 3rd mothership purchase and now I have 9 out of 11 palettes. This one really sparked my love for Pat McGrath

I have always liked Moonlit Seduction's colour story (even if I would have preferred a brown or taupe transition shade), but it still has a fatal flaw and that is its lack of special baked shades. That's what made the Motherships stand out from other eyeshadow palettes on the market and why we were willing to pay their hefty price. It's very sad to see they are discontinuing this baked formula without even giving us an explanation.

I have always liked Moonlit Seduction's colour story (even if I would have preferred a brown or taupe transition shade), but it still has a fatal flaw and that is its lack of special baked shades. That's what made the Motherships stand out from other eyeshadow palettes on the market and why we were willing to pay their hefty price. It's very sad to see they are discontinuing this baked formula without even giving us an explanation.

Moonlit seduction is a lesson in sophistication meeting edgy but still hinged. Subversive is the same sophistication but UNHINGED
