I work nights and on my way to work the other day I saw an AA, and was so excited and thought about you Caroline. Until I bursted out in laughter, my night shift brain had seen an AA license plate 🤣🤣🤣🙈 🤷🏻♀️. I don’t think I got enough sleep between shifts that day 😅🙈
I remember getting the one and two dollar notes as pocket money growing up. I miss that range. Thanks for explaining about all the different serial numbers.
New hobby acquired! Off to find every note in the house!! I'm sure my mum also has a stash of old $1 & $2 notes somewhere too. Happy searching everyone!
Thank you. You explained it very well and the picture’s helped. $5 dollar I seen it a few years back. Your collection is beautiful. Can’t wait to watch the other videos 😊🖤🖤
That was absolutely fascinating. I actually found an old $20 note with an AA an I instantly thought of you. Although now I will have to go through all of my cash envelopes and check them all!
Good fun seeing all the different notes. I have about 1200 in AAs now, but I have passed on some that were very worn or scruffy. I also figure I can spend them if I need to 😀 but I do have 10 consecutive of those special 2001 $5 notes that a friend got from her work that were straight from the bank. I must get them out and check the rest of the serial numbers too. I was happy to get those at face value at the time.
I also think because theyre harder to find, people worry that they wont be able to use them anymore (even though you can change at any bank as it's legal tender). 🖤
Loved seeing all our Aussie money! Especially our old money 😍
Thanks Sharmain, glad you enjoyed it! 🖤
This was so fun! I don’t even look at serial numbers except for the stars, and of course I look for older bills. Thanks for sharing!😊💚
You should! Imagine an awesome special serial with a star! $$$$$$$

Hi. Love your collection!!
Thank you!🖤
Loving the series!
Thank you! 🖤
Wow!!! That $10 note is amazing!!!
Right?!🖤
Aahhh I cant believe this series is over!!!!
Interesting!
I live this video. Thank you for making it. I had a question: What are the letters they use for last prefex ?
It changes depending on how many notes needed to be printed. That's why I collect first prefix as it's easy to know AA is always first 🖤
@CAROCASH would there ever be a kj I thought it would be cool to collect my initials
Oh wow ok I mus check from now on lol
I’ve been getting a few of those older $5 in my change lately…
I think people are starting to use notes they've saved because times are getting tough
I also think because theyre harder to find, people worry that they wont be able to use them anymore (even though you can change at any bank as it's legal tender). 🖤
I'm still a little confused, why are you collecting AA notes? Why are they special ?
Pls educate me 😂
Not for any financial reason. This is just something I have done for years as a hobby. AA is first prefix 🖤
