He included one chapter of the suite in every Dt album from Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence to Black Clouds & Silver Linings. In every song there are parts and melodies that remind of other Chapter of the suite. The songs (chapters) are in order: The Glas Prison, This Dying Soul, The Root of All Evil, Repentance and this one.
It's a guitar cover, it's meant for us to hear the guitar over the rest of the band. That's the way he wants to do it, since that's how the rest of his (recent) covers are.

I agree. i found it better, that the original track was more silent and that hist guitar playing was mixed a bit louder.

You don't have to hear the beat of the song in a guitar cover. That's what the original song is there for. This is for learning the guitar part.
